Even cover MLA better than most professors these days... thank you for all your hard work. I think it's safe to say that all of us would be lost without you!!
You explain MLA so well my professors teach it by assigning your videos. I'm grateful it's perfectly detailed and I'm able to come back to it every time I'm writing a paper!
i loved it!!!! i have honestly learned what my professors SCREAM to me to learn or that i do wrong. it took me a couple rewatching hours to understand the basics in its entirety, but I even feel like citing your video in my upcoming essays because a lot of the credit for the change i feel inside after watching this, it's enormous and unbelievable. Thank you so much Chelsea!!!
You’ve saved my life😂 I’m trying to write a paper for the first time in my life, and one of my professor’s requests is to use MLA style. So, thanks a lot ❤️ Regarding suggestions, since the English is not my first language I’ll really appreciate if you make a video about punctuation marks. Thanks again 🙏🏻
At 5.56 there is a blue hyperlink in the Works Cited page. This may be acceptable in documents that are only meant to be viewed online (check with your teacher) but it isn't acceptable in printed documents, where hyperlinks serve no purpose.
Thanks for the video. I really enjoyed it. I would like to know how you cite more than one quotes from two or more different pages from the same book, on the work cited page.
Hi! This is probably too late to be super-useful to you, but you don't need to include page numbers of a book you use in the Works Cited page. The page numbers in question are included in the in-text parenthetical reference, and that is all you need. However, if you are referring to an article in a journal, you would need to include the page span in the journal where the article appears in the Works Cited page. Maybe this will help in the future.
Hi, I saw the PDF version, It was very useful and productive to use. I Have a suggestion If you could please highlight the examples as the color you directed. For example, the Author is in yellow, so if the author's name in the example also has the yellow color. I hope I write it clear.😊
You posted this great tutorial a year ago, so may not be responding to comments anymore, but I'm wondering why, in the "Version" demonstration 'The Tempest' and 'Tarzan' seem to be part of the title, but are not italicized. ? Thanks!

Well explained, but note that "vs." stands for "versus" not "verse". Just like "et al.", it's good old Latin at the source.
Thanks.
Great information..

Hmm. You didn't mention the date the student accesssed the information. Is that not needed anymore?
