The main problem of Top 4 players is that they are only trained to play bazball, same are not trained to play typical test cricket by facing a spinner via dot balls.

Yes, they have some good young players in the side but the lack of consistecy with both bat and ball for a supposedly world class side is absolutely chronic, including from some very experienced players, and is seriously limiting the team's progress. They've gone out minutes after the opposition have made 300+ and looked, as they did in their first innings, like they've never played spin before. They clearly can't cope with even the slightest turn. Absolutely pathetic.

It's time for McCullum and Stokes to resign from their respective roles and appoint somebody who has a more matured approach of playing tests. Now i fear for the white ball side also. These players are never taught about perseverance and technique. If they are playing bazball they should have scored 350 plus. Everybody played irresponsibly as if there's no tomorrow. The last three Pakistan wickets added 70 to 75 runs. Shoaib Bashir isn't a good spinner at all. Overall both batting and bowling were below average.
Pope needs to be dropped, awful player, offers absolutely nothing to this side but one innings against india will mean he's on the plane to Australia. Duckett is probably the only batsman who performed consistently well, he's been our best the last couple of years
