This is the first set of pokemon cards I've purchased since base set as a child. Truly awesome to see the original grouping back at it, trying to master my first set. Love the channel, keep up the great work!
19:10 PSA have stated they don't penalize cards that has widespread misprinting. These print lines are on every single ones of these reverses (except a few ultra rare ones where the print line kind of aligns with the borders), if they would deduct grades for these print lines, there wouldn't be more than a handful of these PSA 10's, if even that.
@@DC-Supreme yea, my worst pulls were from the ultra case and best pulls from the etb. Pulled a gold mew ex, venasaur ex and sir dragonair today from a etb
@@Hamyboi2010 Yes and that's the biggest joke. Simply the fact that "regrading" is a thing makes it so much less trustworthy. Don't get me wrong. I like graded cards but I simply don't get the hype around PSA 10, when it's such a joke how subjective PSA grading really is. I think there are plenty grading services offering better quality and insight into why and how your card is graded as it is.
151 got me back into collecting like so many others. I'm glad I found your channel. It's helped a lot with being away for so long. This video was a.... gem mint 10
Oh man PSA is just so happy to get the viewership and marketing from your amazing huge channel .. the had to put some 9s in there just for peeps to think they grade best lol but im sure those 9s are really 10s because you always like me immediately sleeve them and hard case them doesn’t get as mint as that other than leaving the package unopened its a marketing thing PSA needs to heat Freon you but can give away to much high hopes for 10s for the average collectors

I want to send some of my vintage out for grading, but wonder what the difference in price would be when you factor in shipping/insurance (both ways) plus the tiered grading fees.
The Nidoking is just amazing. I wish they would either do an entire set with the Sugimori art style, or do a set like this where it's remakes of the original card arts. Either a different art style or a full art of the original base set art. Would be amazing!

Japanese cards tend to receive 10s more easily than english ones because the quality of printing is a lot better
