Fantastic video and van! Just bought an 83 Diesel 5 speed manual! Your build is very inspiring! Would recommend Grade 8 hardware for your seats, stronger/higher shear ratings but you are probably good 👍🏻 Cheers 🥂

Wow! Your video was indeed informative and enjoyable. I like your humor. I'm impressed with the good work you did it.
I picked up 1990 Carat Wolfsburg. It had been a wheel chair van. I sold my Westy and now I'm fixing the "Rocket", we call it, as it is some much more agile and faster than the Westy. I've struggled with finding curtains to fit the existing snaps, or even maybe curtain/slide rails set. But it liked the looks of your rods. It looks like you didn't have on over the slider tho. I wonder if you have a recommendation of where to find similar rods and curtains. '

Hey Patrick! My rods are from Target and my curtains from IKEA. I cut and hemmed them to fit haha. I love my van but I’ll soon be listing it to sell it. It’s been great but onto another season of life!
