One of my first times playing this game it took 10 hours straight until I finally did it, I was on a friend's game who was all the way to the final boss so I decided to beat Malenia for him. Good shit on doing it I know your pain👏👏👏😂

I’m so sick of people trying to defend Malenia’s boss design, yes she looks cool and her moves are cinematic but they don’t fit well into dark souls style combat and she kinda breaks preexisting mechanics. Also the reason Malenia wasn’t staggered by some of your attacks is because she can just cancel her stagger animation when hit with light weapons.
Ngl… she definitely brings a new perspective to Souls Style combat, just because it’s not the familiar style, doesn’t mean it’s a bad one
Look at Demon of Hatred in Sekiro, that mf is straight up a Bloodborne boss that snuck its way into Sekiro
Honestly I feel like Malenia fits to be a Sekiro boss, she’d be fun to constantly parry and deflect
@@EggsBenedicts100% agree on her being a sekiro boss, I’ve been playing with a mod called elden ring reforged that adds a ton of stuff including deflects and it’s VERY fun to fight Malenia with it, it just feels so natural.
