Heyo Ryan that's a mighty fine looking BRISKET looks super tender to me . Thanks for sharing my brother. Take care and stay safe out there. Cheers!... from Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹
Thanks for watching I Stephen I greatly appreciate it. I was really good been awhile since I did a brisket I was worried it would not turn out good. But it was super tender and juicy. You take care and stay safe
Good lookin brisket. I've been toying with the idea of getting a pellet cooker for the convenience factor. Right now I use wood and charcoal like I have for years. However, working 6 -10 hour days has kinda taken the fun out of babysitting a fire. Anyway, I'm a Kosmos products fan as well. Never tried the injections as I usually skip that step but his rubs and sauces are top shelf. I've tried alot of products and I find myself going back to Kosmos and Killer Hogs regularly, in fact I've got some baby backs rolling as I type this rubbed down with his Honey rub. Thanks for sharing. Have a good weekend, what's left of it.
Thanks for watching I appreciate it. Yes Kosmos is a great rub I like most everything the has. With that same recipe I got 4th brisket. Looking to improve this year. I was the same way straight charcoal and wood. My brother got a Yoder and it worked great. So I did my research and got the Rec Tec Bull and I’m not disappointed. I can start and control my Rec Tec anywhere as long as it’s plugged up. The WiFi is great if you get a pellet grill check out Rec Tec. Tell Raymond I sent you. You have a great rest of your weekend as well cheers brother
Thanks for the reply. I've done a bit of research, but nothing too extensive. Admittedly, I've just started looking at the Rec Tec since watching your channel. I have really been looking at the Camp Chef Woodwind, but the Rec Tec does look more robust. Have you had any dealings with the Camp Chef pellet cookers? Thanks, bud.
I was at the same cross road. Seen lots of reviews on both. A lot of people was talking about how flimsy the camp chefs are. I’ve never owned one as I went with Rec Tec. But my buddy tried to save money and get a pit boss. He deeply regretted it about 3 weeks into owning it. Last I heard to took it back. For the durability and the 40lb hopper with a 6 year warranty is hard to beat. Raymond the owner of Rec Tec is an awesome guy. He goes above and beyond for customers. And the rest of the staff do as well. Here how good of a company they are. Guy on Facebook had his bull get tore up in a storm. Rec Tec reached out to him and sent him a brand new bull. And it wasn’t even a warranty issue but they took care of him. There are story’s like at all over the Rec Tec group’s on Facebook. I’ve had mine for 1 1/2 years and not one single issue. And I’ve never disliked anything that I’ve cooked on it. And I don’t have to babysit it or add work every 30-45 minutes. You won’t be disappointed with a bull I can fit 6 pork buts on mine. Ray even gives you his personal cell number as well. If I ever need an upgrade to bigger I’m dead set on the BFG it’s a beast of a cooker
Yea, that's about what I was figuring. After watching your videos and a few others, I may pull the trigger on a Rec Tec. One video I watched explained that Camp Chef's metal was half as thick as that of the Rec Tec. As an old fashioned sort of cooker who's accustomed to using old hydraulic tanks converted into bbq pits, sometimes cinder blocks and catwalk even, heaviness does matter to me. Lol. That customer service sounds top shelf. I think I'll kick it around a little bit more. I'm narrowing it down to a Gateway drum or a pellet cooker but I'm leaning more towards the pellet cooker.I've heard both are pretty consistent even though they are two different animals. I love stick burner flavor and when I have time I enjoy the process. But, it'd be nice to just sometimes do other things while cooking besides babysitting and drinking beer. Lol. I appreciate it, buddy.
Thanks for watching brother Ric I appreciate. I’m going you use the suckle Busters 1836 on my next one. I got 4th place brisket with this combination last year. Hope I can move up from there this year. Competition start around here next month.
Thanks for watching I appreciate it. Yes it is one of the best. I love my Rec Tec Bull I’ve had it for over a year and 1/2 and never had any issues with it. The WiFi control is great. As long as it’s plugged in I can start it from anywhere in the world.

Good looking Brisky Ryan! You know I’m Team SuckleBusters but I do like KOSMOS SmokeHouse Reserve injection. Love that Rec Tec too! 👊🏼

That Kosmos brisket mop is game changer! How do you like your Rec Tec?
