- 10 years ago Dave Krikst launched BarDown. To celebrate the Anniversary the squad reacts to some of their favourite videos from their time working together and reminisces about the evolution of the brand.

Have been reading through all of your amazing messages (and will continue to), and just wanted to say thank you!
It’s been great to get to relive these moments, and hear some of your own stories of how you came across the videos.
We’re lucky to do what we do, and even luckier to have people who have enjoyed watching a long. It’s something I can assure you is never taken for granted, so thank you!!

I wanna thank you and the guys so much. Your content helped me get back into, and leading to me going back to play ice hockey. The quizes helped me through a tough time in my life. But I knew that the quizes would be there.
Always appreciate the work you guys do, the talent each and every one of you have! Now we just need to get you to be a contestant in more quizzes, DZ!

@@JetsLegends Jonathan Gayle-West was an employee at TSN, did videos with the bardown crew. Back in 2018 he was murdered in Toronto; two people shot him while he was driving. They were caught: one died in custody and the other was sentenced to life in prison. Its honestly just a horrible story, but I'm glad the team here still feature their departed friend on the channel from time to time. He seemed like a great dude

Maybe this comment will go unnoticed but honestly Bardown is one of my favourite things on UA-cam. As a lover of hockey, its cool to see people sharing that love and also creating cool content around the game and with anything related to it. You all have great charisma and all are equal parts the reason as to why Bardown has made it to 10 years! Thanks for all the beautiful memories and laughs over these years and hoping to see more incredible content in the future!

My father passed when i was 7 and i lost my love for hockey after that I didnt even know what tsn before bardown i saw a vid on my recommended for a hockey quiz when i was 12. I have seen every episodes like 5 times i love the team. And im almost 17 now and my love for hockey is stronger than ever. Love from texas happy 10 years and Go Kings Go

Hoping for 10 more years of bardown content
The bardown quizzes are what gave me the passion to get back into hockey. I can’t thank you guys enough.
I don't think I have ever commented on any you tube video before but watching this one brought back the memories of even the earlier videos. You guys have been on such a special journey and it was so cool watching you guys change over time making these videos. Gotta say props to Z for making the quizzes and all the people who were apart of those quizzes. This includes Jonny, he will always sit atop the quizzes. RIP. Just wanted to put an underated quiz moment of Corwin choking the greatest single season goal record for each team but also Jesse making the greatest underdog run in that quiz. Such a cool journey and Corwin, Go Leafs Go
I’m 2 minutes in to the video and I haven’t watched bardown in so many years. Probably at least 4. But I’m glad I’m back. Now I have years worth of videos to watch back now. Glad to celebrate 10 years. Cheers boys!
I started watching you guys 7 years ago, during my junior year of high school. I feel like I’ve grown up with you guys, and learned more about hockey, league wide. I look forward to the next 10 years! Long live Jonny!!!!

The first 4 years of the quizzes being out i was going through the toughest times of my life, battling cancer on and off during that time. These quizzes, thumb league, updates and other content you produced helped me get my mind off things while in the hospital and going through my treatments. I don't think any of you can even imagine or realize the impact and positivity you have on peoples lives doing what you guys do. So i personally would like to say thank you and hope you all continue to do the incredible work you all do.

Thank you everyone on the Bardown team for everything you do! Been a fan since my first year of high school, and I’m now almost finished post-secondary! I must have seen every vid at least 6 or 7 times. Every time I see a new Bardown upload, it is the highlight of my day. Thank you for all the laughs and memories that you have given all of us over the years, you all have had a very positive impact on not only my life, but many many others! Congratulations on a decade of Bardown, and here’s to 10 more years! :)

You guys should go on another road trip to the states. I think a bruins game would be fun plus there are lots of cool places to visit in the city

I've been blessed enough to cover the Red Wings for 34 years, and one of the reasons I enjoy Bardown so much is it is obvious how much you all love your jobs, each other, and hockey in general. Not many people get to do this for a living, and especially in this media economy, you can't ever take it for granted.
It's been wonderful to watch all of you grow as you do this, and I hope some of our paths cross at America's Memorial Cup in May.

Congrats on 10 years guys! I'm the only hockey fan among my friends down here in Virginia, but your videos give me the hockey fix I wouldn't get anywhere else. Love the pod especially- thanks for all you guys do.
This video brought back so many moments I had forgotten I’d watched. I remember the first quiz showing up in my recommended videos a couple days after it was posted and I was instantly hooked. Being in college at that time, I had a lot more free time then to be watching at a moment’s notice whenever a new video dropped. Nowadays, I circle back to the channel about once a month to catch up on as much as I can but I still get the same joy watching y’all today as I did back then.

I remember 5 years ago I watched one of the quizzes, and I thought everyone was weird, and I didn't really like it. About a week later, the Montreal Road Trip video came up on autoplay, and I've been huge fans of these guys ever since.
