- If you do a search for a current mirror on the web, you'll probably find this one. The problem is that it doesn't work as drawn. I take a look at the circuit and show you one way to fix it.

Welcome back, and thank you. Also, I had already burnt up a few 2n2222 transistors following the others presentations. Dropped it as it did take some time just to match the betas. This helps greatly on understanding it.

Were you trying to match the Hfe for both transistors? Do you remember what match you got at the time?
