I just found out Rose By land (played by the outstand Betty White) has passed away. After I heard about the other three outstanding actresses' deaths, I noticed something that I find coincidentally iron. Give me a "like" if you noticed this too... In one episode, not sure exactly which one at this time, all four Golden Girls were in the living room. Be a, Rue and Betty were sitting on the couch while Estelle was on the chair on the left. The topic was a discussion about going together into a retirement home when it became necessary. Betty says "Wheat happens when there's only one of us left?" And after a brief pause Estelle (Sophia) replies "It's ok, I can take care of myself". Don't quote me on Estelle's response, but I find it ironic that Betty had that particular line and coincidentally it was her that survived the other three Golden Girls. I'm now 48 years old. The show began when I was 12 yrs old and I still love it to this day. I had my 2 sons, who are 17 & 14 watch the show and they enjoyed watching with me. We had many laughs together as I shared this special show that I have watched to this day when it first aired in 1985. My heart goes out to all four of the Golden Girls and anyone associated with the show. May God Bless them as I have been blessed with this show. With much love and respect. No one can ever take their places or even come close. I felt like they were my family, even now as I watch all 7 seasons on DVD. Honestly, God as my witness, I'm watching season 7 right now- I did a Golden Girls marathon starting with the pilot. Girls, if you are watching done on your fans from heaven, I love and miss you all! 😇❤
Classic program which is unusual in the fact it’s dealing with our lovely older generation who don’t usually get a look in and are usually passed by we need to watch our old folks they’ve still got so much more to give us and teach us and their experiences are priceless to learn from another sitcom with our older folks or a remake of this I would definitely be one to watch it, thanks ladies for entertaining us God bless 😘💓🎚🙏🏻💞🌸💞😘✝️

My favorite Golden Girl was Blanch Devereau! Rue McClanahan was excellent in this role! Her character carried most of the episodes because it was usually Blanch's face the camera zoomed in on during the outrageous plots! I think this lady was head and shoulders above the others, altho' the level of comedy talent of the ensemble was so superb to anything else at the time, or since then!

My favorite was Dorothy. She is so funny and full of wisdom. Its funny because I grew up not liking the golden girls. When I heard of Dorothy dying, it made me retake the golden girls again and after finally really giving it a chance, it became one of my most favorite sitcome, aside from Frasier
