Man, I bought a VAD 503 over the Christmas break and it's ok, but I really feel like Efnote looks to be a lot more responsive. The hi hat that Roland gives you with the 503 is a joke in comparison to what I've seen from Efnote. Too bad I can't return my 503 :(

I got a VAD503 and you are right. The hi hat is not that great. The EF Note cymbals are way better overall.
And it’s twice the price of this. Roland are taking the piss!
Is this kick pad good to use with double pedal?
Hi Rod, yes all of the EFNOTE kits actually have two side-by-side sensors for super accurate double kick triggering.
