28:28 absolutely with talking about it! Sharing Your personal experience with us helps people without even knowing it. I know personally as someone who has also been in a situation like this, you feel like you’re the only person that this has happened to. So hearing more and more that there are other people who understand me helped me no be so hard on myself for all that happened.
healthy relationship subjects are definitely a good subject! Also it can help kids know that not everyone needs to have a partner too like life is so very complex and it's nice to know
28:48 to be blunt, the reason we don't have that education is because certain people in power don't *want* people to not know when they're in a bad relationship, otherwise they may not feel as compelled to have kids. It's all about control over others, and proper education about healthy relationships gives people more control over their situation
As much as I love the giggles on the show, the moments that always stick out to me with feeling seen and comforted are when you guys get vulnerable and insightful about life experiences🩵🩵
Unlike Alexaleena, I am not a doctor. However, I think the reason people decide to stay and try to fix it is because of the sunk cost fallacy. They feel like they have invested so much time, effort, and emotional work to let it fail. So much so, that they ignore the sense of self worth because of it.
yall this was triggering because my cousin (29M) was very recently pissing in Gatorade bottles to ‘conserve water’ due to having 4 more guests at his moms house 😭😭😭😭😭
sarah was so raw this ep omg i love you guys

As a “younger” viewer, it’s really nice to hear about healthy relationships/things to watch out for on the pod! ❤
