Great video and very accurate... My Jag is loud as hell whenever he sees another dog or something he thinks we should be paying attention to, even if it's just the oven timer beeping or a leaf falling off a tree!
It seems like you really don't know how lovlig and good family dog JAG can be. Yes, our was following my father at every single step, but she would come to anyone of us. She was the bos of the yard...and non of our cats, chicken or other animals was hurt by her. Neighbors animals, however never felt welcomed. I would say, if you have enough place for this tipe of dogs at your home, and time to be with it....it is the perfect family pet. It doesn't have to hunt to have a purpose.
My father bought a German jagterrier about 4 years ago he thought it was a good idea to have him in the backyard and he would protect us if we would feed him some food that definetly was not a good idea the dog of course knew us as thier owners but was very aggresive my father never had time to actually take him hunting and at the end we had to give it away to a hunter but. He escaped from the hunters house and went to a neighbors house where he killed one sheep the neighbor shot him with a gun and he died he usually barked the whole night and we had many problems with him even tho my father would feed him he still wasn't very friendly to him at the end it's a very interesting dog but I feel like it would be better if my father would research it before getting the dog

Mine is a lap dog and is best friends with my cat. He's got a high prey drive though and pulls the leash like a truck when he sees a rabbit.

yes they are.
Perfect description. I know some Jagdterriers that are owned by hunters, and you described just how they are.
Thank you, it's a pleasure.
Brother had these they lived with other pets, hunted with other dogs, were good with kids, not difficult at all to train.
It's different for everyone.
Ja es gibt immer solche und andere ist aber alles Erziehung.

Yes, you are absolutely right, the dog is really very complicated. It is better to take such a breed as a small puppy in order to properly raise it.
@@jagdterriergerman9483 we.bought him as a baby yes
They are blood thirsty hunting dogs but mine just loves people.
@@jagdterriergerman9483 Yep, just regular feeding and keeping it in the backyard aren't enough "action" for a Jagdterrier.
