Just like your fingerprint, every rapper have different kind of flow. If you really need flows, get triplet flow or other type of skill flows (the theory is in the musical book)

Wtf the replies here are all wrong... flow means your rhyme structure, the rhythm/meter that you use in each line, how you ride the beat. For example, if you gotta a boring flow, then that probably means you doing the same thing every line, like just doing rhyming couplets with the same pace, with each syllable landing on the same place in the bar over and over again.
Bad flow is when it doesn't sound musical. Bad flow is just talking over a beat without any rhythm. Make your flow sound like an extra instrument over the beat and you have great flow.
I cant figure out how to put a melody or flow in the lyrics, I just sound static like I'm reading something, basically I dont even have a flow, so frustrating. Gonna try to exercise as you suggest, hope it works
Bro , you got to mumble rap first and find the flows to the beat (you can flow in alot of ways to a given beat ) and when you find a good flow , you then write words to that flow . That will make everything sound better...

Around 5:06 you mention missing syllables in your flow. Would you be able to elaborate on that? because afaik as long as the syllables that are meant to rhymes are still aligned rythmically, the amount of syllables shouldn't necessarily be of great importance.

Scatting is like making random noises (sounds not words) over beats to find your flow. I have a free rap flow course in the description that shows you what I mean and gives you exercises to help you out.

I don’t know how to identify bad flow when listening to songs
When youtubers bring up flow, I never understand what they mean
