There are many many such people in the muslim nation..but they are either hidden like gems and precious stones and not publisied on internet...many muslims scholars and students travels the world to learn from thee elites scholars who have reach high level of spirituality , knowledge of sacred laws,piety,wisdom ,intellect ect...most people nowadays are satisfied with their material life and dont do additional effort to seek knowledge of God....before we return to God we must know him and submit to him

Our Crisis of knowledge stems from the fact that muslims and especially our top scholars have abandoned the Quran!
They would rather quote, all day long, from man-made hadith.
In addition those that do quote and elaborate from the Quran, commit a manifest error. They entertain "mutashabiat" verses as litteral, when in fact they are allegorical in nature.
Allah swt has given us a beautiiful lock and key verse in Surah Al Imran 3: 5-7 that emphasises the two types of language in the Quran.
But still there are many that accept blindly that allegorical verses are factual!
Ilm, true knowledge can be gleamed from the Quran but it first takes the emptying on the mind and the abandonment of forefather teaching, to be able to arrive at the truth.

Abu Darda reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Verily, the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge. The inhabitants of the heavens and earth, even the fish in the depths of the water, seek forgiveness for the scholar. The virtue of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon over the stars. The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. They do not leave behind gold or silver coins, but rather they leave behind knowledge. Whoever has taken hold of it has been given an abundant share.

This is the American kid, who was an outsider, and joined a gang to feel like he was accepted. And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe.
Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned. Great Quran
