Two months into our trip to Africa: meeting new African friends

After about two months of our time in Africa we had the chance to connect for a full day with two new friends. They took us to a mall we hadn’t investigated yet called Wernhill, helped us understand our cultural differences, and took us to what they called “The Hood” in Katatura where 60% of Namibians live.
As we learn more we are even more confident that there’s so much value in us all connecting together to support one another. We need them to teach us the cultural knowledge we never had and embrace us as cousins. They need us to help bring our business knowledge and dollars to help build basic infrastructure to help them thrive better.
We also need to learn from them how to work so well as a team to uplift as they have had to create this in their villages and keep tightly to their cultural bonds.
