He is also really funny in the videos he has been doing with FlackerzFotos (Joe) for the Photo/video battle with The Wolf Johnson because of the infamous Mushy Peas Incident! Loved this song... I really appreciate when an artist doesn't compromise their message for the sake of a rhyme. My favourite song by Viktus is actually his oldest song on his UA-cam. I like the construction of this track, the choice of hook, the video, the message, and Vik's voice. It feels like he is growing a lot with each release. I think he might benefit from pairing with a writer to help him tell his story in a way that honours his candour and doesn't put any spin on it, but just helps a little with the poetic aspects of lyricism. (As an editor, the idea of preserving the author's voice but helping tweak their words to pull out the most impactful phrasing is a standard part of bringing their writing to market, so I hope nobody thinks I am criticising his lyrics. Far from it, you can't polish something that isn't already good quality.)
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "Tom Traubert's Blues (4 Sheets to the Wind in Copenhagen)" by Tom Waits (Also known as "Waltzing Matilda"). His voice is so unique that one critic once described it as though "it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside & run over with a car"!
