Night Shade hits Normal-types in Generation I
You actually hit her Eevee with it, The only reason it missed with Clefairy was because Eevee used Sand-attack. :P
That last one was intense talk about pressure.

I remember playing this game in this cup, I used Gastly I switch out to Gastly on the third trainer "Nerd" cause he select his pokemon to use Explosion but It doesn't have no affect on Ghost Types to save the other two pokemon,
Such a close battle haha had me going for a bit but that switching strategy was a wise one. XD
I prefer stadium 2 because of the added steel and dark types as well as psychic types not being overpowered.

@goldenmcflappy In the first generation, even though the Psychic and Normal type had a full immunity against Ghost-types, Night Shade still hit them. In generation 2, this was changed so that Night Shade won't affect a type with a full immunity against it.
The same thing goes for Seismic Toss hitting Ghost-types in generation 1, but not in later generations.
Last battle was tense. Came out with the W in the end tho. ggs

Just remember keep in mind that if you guys can't watch the whole thing favorite it and come back later or just come back to it later or something ;p
@natonyh in generation 1, fixed damage moves like night shade were not affected by type match-ups, therefore, night shade could hit normal-types for damage. if you paid attention to the battle, you'd notice that eevee gastly with 2 sand attacks, which explains why night shade missed clefairy.
@jasmin8ter2010 possibly. it depends on the nickname, some change the colors more than others; "Snitch" will most likely change its color, but it may or may not be noticeable.

This is probably the 10th time Ive said this to people but no there are no shiny Pokemon in Gen 1 which is Stadium 1. The 2nd brings shiny Pokemon into play. But in the 1st and 2nd they can have there color changed depending on the nicknames and Ive told that to people even in videos alot xD

My team was Omanyte, Rattata, Farfetched, Voltorb, Bulbasaur and Vulpix. Rattata got me through half the tournament!:)

Parras is a bug and grass type. There no way it would survive a flying type move even with reflect. :)

6:51 its normal that paras died in one hit being 4x weak to fly. also exeggcute is only 2x weak to fly when it has more hp and defense and the exeggcute almost died in 2 hits (sorry for sounding like a smartass lol)

annoying using a ground type move on magemite in current gen would maybe not be super effective our do almos not damage. because in gen 3 our later magemite and magenton and garados had there types change. Magemite and magneton too steal grados to water and flying. What were they thinking that was such a bad idea. Magiic carp its self was pretty much useless unless you spam poison spikes and stealth rocks. user pimpnite did that it worked.
