back then it wasn't only 30 prisoners, it was 280 but more than half died in their "civil" war, and 125 of them left, and they were holding tactical position(defending only one side)shielded and heavily armed, with version of element of surprise...later Madi took away: shielded and heavily armed, and beat them..and here Indra had tactical advantage, and it's normal thing for small teams to deal with hostage situations, or to take down fortified facilities(like M.W.)cause in those cases, when having only one(and narrow)point of entrance, only a fool would actually attack with an army...
