Hi Connor, I picked up Munich Christmas Market in the original jar and London Christmas Tea and North Pole Hideaway in the scentplug form. I haven't used them yet but plan to soon. The Apres Ski collection sounds intriguing but I don't think it's in stock at my local Yankee store yet. Thanks for the video!
I hope you enjoy the new scents! I've been burning Munich Christmas Market and Parisian Holiday Brunch this weekend. I did get my hands on all of the Apres Ski candles and the video will be going up on Monday!
I burned London Christmas Tea last night and LOVED it! To me it is a cross between Yankee's old Camomille Tea and A Calm and Quiet Place. I don't get star anise at all, but maybe that will come in future burns. This is a great blend. I have not been this excited about a new YC scent in a long time!
Last night I bought ’Tis the Sea-Sun in Sydney and London Christmas Tea in the large 1 wick jar off the website. I smelled them briefly in the store when I was traveling a few weeks ago but hadn't seen them in stores here yet. Maybe that Yankee had them out early? Also saw on the website they have a Après Ski Collection. Those seemed very unique.... you will have to tell us what you think on those!
After test burning must of the them in the 1 wick format except for the Munich one, I can tell you I was impressed by the even burning and hot throw of the Big Apple and the Parisian holiday for the 1 wick format. The Big Apple travels and fill the room quickly and while burning the sweetness is more prominent, honestly when I smelled on cold I thought it was a boring candy apple but while burning I changed my mind. The Parisian holidays on cold you get more those raspberry notes with the pastry and is interesting but while burning forget about the raspberries it is a buttery croissant 🥐 candle period! with a really faded sweet raspberries note at the end . The hot throw is amazing and fills the room really nice and stays lingering for a while. The North Pole one is good, decent throw and is the same cold or hot. The biggest disappointment were the London and the Sydney ones Amazing on cold but not existent hot throw like the “ Bahamas beach bum”. I’m burning the London one in a small bathroom and you can’t tell there’s a candle burning and even with the illuma lid it takes forever to reach the glass. The Sydney one at the beginning it throws a little fragrance but once the melt pool starts getting hotter the fragrance disappears and even with the recommended wick trim and with the illuma lid is a soot machine. Hopefully the performance of those 2 may be better with the 2 or 3 wicks format.
Glad to hear that some of these are are throwing well! I hope to enjoy Big Apple Christmas more when burning. That is so disappointing that London is light, I really like that one on cold!
@@connorlovescandles *Update on the single wick London Christmas tree, once it reached a 2+ inches deep melt pool it starts throwing to fill a bathroom space with the fragrance but for sure it will under perform in a medium to large size rooms. I had to use the illuma lid all the way till the wax reached the middle of the jar , a hurricane tumbler and don’t trim the wick till it was a big mushroom to archive the large melting pool to finally enjoy some throw and since it takes several hrs to reach the glass I left it burning non stop till it consumed all the wax. Surprisingly even after burning it non stop for like 3 days at the end the jar was clean and no soot just lots of mushroom wick pieces at the bottom of the jar. Is one of those fragrances that needs to get really hot the wax to throw.
I need Munich Christmas Market, hope Kohl's (online) or Target (in-store) will get it in the future, so I have five of them. These are all interesting scents, it's been said that Parisian Holiday Brunch isn't the best scent, but it's fine with me. I like these scents. I'll be on the hunt for Fresh Powder, Holiday Winterfest, Santa On Skis, Slopeside Spritz, and Summit Stargazing. It's another Christmas collection called Apres Ski. Letters To Santa was the best find last week. Today I found at Ross (there are three stores here in the city) Frosty Gingerbread and Movie Night Cocoa. They're re-purchases even though I haven't burned the second one lol. For London Christmas Tea, guaiac is a type of wood from its own tree with said name also has been called Palo Santo, bowling balls are made from it, found in perfumes, medicine, used in laboratory tests to detect hidden blood in urine and stool, aroma (cold, flu, headache, asthma, joint and muscle pain), flavorings, charcoal, posts, and engravings. It's been advertised as Yerba Mate (Mah tay). Nice first sniffs impression. I've been enjoying HW Midnight Moon, really nice scent and YC's Sugared Pumpkin Swirl. Happy burning.
Hey Connor. Thanks for this video. I was really curious as to what some of these smelt like. Just one thing - can't you put in a word over at Yankee and ask them why they don't release all of the candles in the 3 wicks. It's very irritating to want a whole collection and then to not be able to get them all in the same jar style. Personally, I'm not a fan of the look and style of the tumblers. I was a massive fan of the now discontinued signature jars 😢, as those looked so nice and classy. Anyway, I'll now only buy the 3 wicks and it's irritating that I can't get them all in the 3-wicks. Okay, rant over. Have a good day further.
I totally understand your frustration, I also wish that every scent was in every form. I'm not sure why they are not, but I'm guessing it has to do with scent popularity? I would love for every scent to be in a 3-wick! I will try in put a word in with my district manager!

I’m excited for Big Apple Christmas, I’m on an apple kick lately. 🤓
Hope you enjoy it!

@@connorlovescandles It was a nice video, I'll keep checking Target, maybe Wal-Mart will get one or two.
Awesome Video ❤
Will you be bringing back the cookie review videos
I hope to be able to do some baking videos this holiday! Maybe around Thanksgiving?

@connorlovescandles Thanks a ton. That would be awesome.
I got the Parisian Brunch in a mini candle for a birthday reward. I was so disappointed- it is so off-putting to me. Yuck.
Oh no! Hope you are able to exchange it for something you like better. It's a very odd scent and I can't tell if I love or hate it lol.
