In Europe, I think we generally have just basil leaves as flavouring, but also sometimes very spicy sausage or minced meat. It's mostly personal preference, and there are a variety of toppings. Sometimes we have salted anchovies as a topping, and some people have pineapple. I'm not a fan of the pineapple, myself :-)

Just wondering because it seems like if you built that up be less of a draft unless you are doing it for ventilation which I understand.But I was always curious about that.
