And to think that the Jews even agreed to split their ancestral lands so that the Arabs will not need to leave en masse. An absurd proposition which they accepted anyway due to a healthy amount of pragmatism, something the Palestinians still lack today.
The irony is that Palestinians were forced to relocate in 1948 from that area. What goes around comes around.

My family who live in Kiryat Shmona, they have a big and beautiful villa there, they have jobs and children and lives, they have lived there for thirty years, they have already been through wars and bombings from Lebanon. And six months ago they were forced to leave their entire lives for a tiny housing unit in Jerusalem, refugees in their own land. And outside of Israel - no one talks about it.
