Some people have so little yet they are so rich internally I genuinely would love to see this couple given a beautiful home with their own garden, If I had the cash myself Id do it just to see them smile. X
I love these two. They exude so much dignity. They’re such a beautiful, unified team. I’m indifferent about legal marriage, but when I see this couple, I see why some people choose it-they exemplify traditional marriage vows, and have got each other’s backs, for life.
So glad that y’all are safe and indoors! I pray that Boo heals completely and that y’all can save enough for your car and truck and that your business prospers! God bless y’all!
This is such a lovely couple. Kymberli and Lenton, I admire your positive outlook and willingness to support other people in similar situations. I know your business will continue to flourish. I know when Mark visits you again in one year, you will be housed fully. P.S. Kymberli, I love your smile--you smile from the heart!
Mark, I believe in "reduce, reuse, recycle" so wearing donated stuff doesn't bother me. And even when I was housed, I couldn't afford to buy new things. Besides, I've seen some really beautiful clothes on people and when I compliment them, I've often been told that they came from a thrift store!
I lived in a homeless shelter for seven years. Everything I wore and everything I ate was donated. It is NOT that I am ungrateful. It's just for my own self-worth,. I hate anything donated now. Homeless people do not have a choice. You and most people have a choice to wear reused clothes. It's not so much about donated clothes as it is about choice. I needed to feel like a normal person again, not someone who didn't have a choice and was given hand-me-downs.
We have a home. We don't buy brand new. Ridiculous to buy brand new! Undergarments, yes, always new but everything else we purchase from thrift stores. That being said...there have been times in my life and in my husband's life when brand new off the rack was the only way to go. After not being able to buy for yourself for so long, when you can...you flex.
Blessings! Homeless with a vehicle vs without. Letting go of EVERY thing except faith. People changing your day/week/life with 1 kind act. Coming out the other side understanding He was always with you. Enlightened. God wins!
