The community is comprised of larger number of "covid collectors" vs, the pre-covid collector. With that, the majority only comprehend the current. As well as, the value is built of "who/how many can I flex on with this post." Real talk
Are the castings from the last five years or so more detailed maybe? I've only been collecting over the last year tbf, I still pick up old castings from toy fairs here in the UK too and I love some of the old school castings!
I don't waste time searching out treasure hunts or super treasure hunts , if I aquire it's not due to going out of the way to obtain it. I like what I like that's what is added to my collection. I do have an infinite toward metal on metal with real riders in finished tampo and licensed cast. Thank you Sir for insight , fully agree with your analysis , always great content.
Same here. If I want one, I’ll make my own. It’s quite easy to wheel swap a car with rubber tire, strip it, polish it, and paint it with spectra flame paint. It’s actually more of an accomplishment to do that, than buy one at and outrageous price because scalpers hoarded them up from the stores.
I got into this hobby about 5 years ago solely to collect Volkswagen castings. I was quickly sucked into the hype of STH/TH game. I would spend countless hours driving around my town to various stores with limited success. It didn't take me long to realize I had strayed from my original reason for collecting. As it is now, I only concern myself with Volkswagen STH/TH. I love your perspective on the STH/TH game. It is all a hype game and as you stated, the cars seem incomplete without full tampos. I'll continue to focus my hunting to Volkswagen castings and be just as happy. Love the channel bud, keep it up.
Hey Walter, sooooo educational today with this myth buster for a subject matter. I was really miffed when a 1997 super TH (Corvette) that I received in a trade with my son started flaking (and it's beginning to look like a ZAMAC). Mattel admitted there were paint issues that affected some other castings of that particular year. Acquiring a super after that was near the bottom of my priority list. If I find one, OK. If I don't, oh well. I'm more into the original Redlines. Gotta be on your A game when you are hunting for those. I still collect, but with a more judicial eye in regards to metal bases (I did that exclusively in the '90's) or the number of paint passes, etc. Kudos to your usual great videos. Full peg vibes to you, my dude!
Soups are fun for the chase/hunt factor but I like watching your channel because of how informative you are with the details and history of the cars. You appreciate the quality of each car from deco to performance and Easter eggs
Each casting has reason for being here. I like to find out the "why". Thank you for seeing value in the show. Not enough real collectors in the largest hobby. Smh.
I have had great luck finding supers and I still agree. It hurts that they are unfinished. They look great from the side. But if it's going to be special, maybe let it be awesome from any angle. They're already treated to new paint and wheels.
I just discovered your channel and as a baseball card guy primarily (I DABBLE in vintage hot wheels) and I find it hugely entertaining and I enjoy watching the way the hobby works…hard to resist getting into it but the universe is immense!!! Also, I like your approach, style and friendliness. It’s a somewhat rare a very pleasant atmosphere. I am a fan👍
Never really look for treasure hunts myself. Typically if I really like a casting I grab a couple customize and one to keep carded. I have an affinity for Chevy Caprices/Impalas ( specially b-bodies ) and Chevy G-Bodies, not too many made by Mattel that I have luck finding, but greenlight and Johnny lighting has me covered there. My favorite thing to do is for sure customizing and building dioramas to display my favorites.
Went through some bins last night at Walmart. Another collector showed up and he asked if I had found “anything good.” I said I look for American Muscle cars and I use this website to make sure I don’t have more than 2 of each (One carded and one loose). He said he likes the more exotic (Porsche, Lambo, etc.) cars and he tries to flip the more “fancy” ones. I found him a TH Porsche and gave it to him. He asked “You sure?!” I said yeah because I like what I like. I’m not in the hobby to flip anything. If that’s your thing…you do you. 😂
Great vid as usual...my thoughts on supers...u are right about the unfinished ones...and recently seen a post on someone copping some older ones that had real riders and specterflame and how they dig the older ones vs the newer ones... I dig both...and as far as mattel goes they are in the business of making money...and as long as the hype of supers go as the collectors gobble them.up their not gna budge on finishing them...just my 2cents
Always chill vibes Walter! I agree that the TH/STH game gets out of hand. There are so many great castings and other diecast brands out there that give good value for the money. Thanks for freeing the 959 for us! They look good don't they! Great video and great hearing your thoughts!
IMO the "worst part" about The Hobby is the mindset that you MUST collect Supers, Exclusives, Convention cars and the like to be considered a "real" Diecast collector. I enjoy diecast racing, so mainlines are where it's at for me! If I'm buying a premium model ($7 version in stores) it's because I plan on swapping those Real Riders out w/plastic wheels so it'll do well on the track! When I go to a diecast show, I'm looking for those $1 - $2 tables and it's an easy pass past those glass cases with $100+ cars in them. If that's what you like, awesome!! I'm happy for you! Just don't look down your nose at us mainline collectors ;) Happy New Year diecast folks!!
Personally, if Supers use metal bases? I would consider getting them. But as of now, I prefer stuff like premiums & vintage hot wheels over Supers & chases. That's just me personally.
Evening Walter and animal friends. Hope your weekend was good. Really love those Vintage sets, only missing a few. I do like the TH and STH but not gonna ruin my hunt if I don't find any, I always have fun running around hunting for HW. That 959 is Gorgeous, got a couple myself, the Blue is amazing! Good luck out there everyone and be safe - Full Peg Vibes!
I agree with you, Walter, on the super treasure hunt hype, but let's face it, we still get a little thrill when we find one... :) I also agree with you on the reseller prices for some of these... for instance, I think this year's Lambo STH is far better than the Datsun, but the Datsuns are still commanding prices that are $50 or more over what the Lambos are listed for.
I am absolutely gob smacked by your red line Porsche. My insider is a Porsche guy too and 50 car collection. He just hooked me up with that X-35 and an X truck tonight. For just 1.50 each. It's like he can read my mind. I got hooked because of the Porsche K 917 and the new 911 my insider hooked me up with. I've switched to Mazda MK 787 as my favorite body. It's because the spoiler helps. Played many hour of Gran Turismo 4 lol
I appreciate the knowledge and insight. I need to pay attention to detail more than a TH logo. I love your thoughts on die cast. Keep it coming. Great video as always
Just a quick note on the Toyota 2000GT; James Bond (Sean Connery) never actually drove the car. The car was driven by Aki (Akiko Wakabayashi), a Japanese SIS agent who helps Bond.
I can't open any supers because I have yet to come across any. Although recently I have come across about 4 different treasure hunts within the past two months, some I knew I had found immediately, and some I didn't realize until I took a closer look at them while heading to the register, or not until I returned home and began to sort my finds. So, that's definitely cool! I'm not hung up on finding treasure hunts or super treasure hunts, I just collect what I like. However, I can not deny it would feel nice to come across a super on the pegs some day!!!
100% Walter 🤝👊 When it became apparent that we were seeing _Functional Chases_ in the Silver Series it left *such a bad taste* in me. Level the playing field Mattel, don't skew the game from the start against your fan base like that. These are good sets, they will sell, so even out the case distribution, what is there to lose for the company? _No FOMO in my dojo,_ if I don't get hard to find stuff, my world keeps turning. It's all about having that healthy relationship with the hobby
The false chase is a continuous deal. Both pearl n chrome mixes had the same issue. Basically becomesa false chase A. Because of less production B. Mostly mainly people grab everyone they see because they ‘heard/saw’ it was a “chase”. I do blame Mattel . It has become very hard to complete any set because of this type of thing. Also 7-11”s and hobby lobby carry the silver line series Thank you for saying the things that need to be said. The state of Diecast collecting is what it is. I don’t lets it deter me and never will. But things do need to change drastically!. And has to start at the top and the only way that happens in my opinion is these very conversations have to be had. So with that I say Thank You and as always . Until next time 🤙🏻🍺
Ah yeyeah! It’s been a minute man! Had to take a break from the hobby to get my mind right and watching your channel(my favorite) was too painful. 😂 I missed you and your channel I’m glad to see you’re still thriving and the same cool dude!
I want a sth, I’ve never found one but I won’t go out of my way to buy any if I can’t find any. They cost a dollar. It’s reasonable paying a few extra dollars but $30 plus some close to $100? For what a fancy mainline With rubber wheels? No metal on metal? No moving parts and some don’t even have full details. I’d rather spend the $30 on some team transport or RLC. Heck id even rather spend $30 on bundle of old mainlines with metal on metal and moving parts. But that’s just my take. With that being said I’ll still keep an eye out for them because for $1-$3 dollars it’s a really cool casting to have. Sorry for the rant, hope everyone can find what they’re looking for! And happy holidays!
Yoo Walter 🎉🎉 awesome video like how you make us collectors see how mattel works and gets us with certain case drops n what not great title with the b/s😂🎉🎉
Another great video, I do have quite a few supers that I found on my hunts but I don't go crazy looking for them, alot of their value is based on hype. I have been collecting more mini gt and kaido house models recently, some really nice castings for the price point. I don't even bother going after the kaido house chases and event exclusives, you'll go broke trying to collect them all.
Now you've got me wanting to see Just your Porsche collection. I hope it's everything you want it to be. I need that Rlaarlo MK 787 RC car, A 2002 Hasbro voice interactive Astro Mech, And a 5 foot wide Millennium Falcon. It's why I stays broke. lol
I’m in agreement Walter, I can find ALL of those vintage racing series except for the Camaro, and chase pieces in general while cool only builds the FOMO around hot wheels. Good marketing strategy for sales but it also leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths and people like me move on to different brands like Mini GT
FYI, the Vintage Racing Club mix one has been peg warming my local grocer all year. They have all of them except for the Camaro which I've yet to find anywhere. They just lower the price to $3 too. I'll be surprised if mix two makes it because they don't seem to be selling. The mainlines don't sell well there either.
I agree on the chase BS with the vintage sets. Like you said, if it's on the back of the card as a numbered part of the set, not a chase. However, being a guy who's in the know about what's what (due in no small part to watching the HLOD!), I do covet them and look for them whenever I've come across this line. I never found the Camaro for the first wave. To me the Datsun is the grail of the second wave .... hope I find one!
They should absolutely be appreciated. The camaro is beautiful, and fully deco'd. That's a good look. They should have left it off the card, and unnumbered... the 0/5 or 0/6 in this case, means it's part of the set.
Dude No.1... I love Oso, he seems to always catch you by surprise.!! That's what makes the opening of your channel fantastic.!! No. 2 your live chat is fun for me so I can catch up on your Info as you get LIT!! No. 3 I'm glad you are not S... "Wow somehow I just keep finding Supers every month at every store Michaels.! ...Tuma
Hey hey Walter, Great video. I enjoy the vintage racing series and have found a few from both sets. Today was a good day of checking the pegs , I found the Action comics Action Sedan and a bumblebee finally from the Transformer set. What's funny about the series now that they've pulled the Mustang (which we all know) and if you look at the back of the package Mattel glued a piece of brown paper over the Mustang. I also couldn't pass up on a Johnny Lightning Mystery Matinee 1985 black Toyota SR5 pickup, the detail is phenomenal. As far as STH and TH ? If I stumble upon one and its a casting I like ? I'll buy it, otherwise I don't search them out. Hell man half the time I don't even know what casting are STH or TH. Thanks for letting me ride along . 🤘✌
That’s why I like the 2022 F Case EK9 Super. Everything is finished. I get you though. The true collectors collect what they like. Doesn’t mean I’ll pass on a STH, TH or CHASE Number ZERO. Gotta admit, Hotwheels is diverse with their clientele😂😂😂
i think you nailed it i noticed it when i got the gt 500 purple now i have a thousands of mianline ones on the hunt for the st when i got it i thought the mainline look better i like your show you be knowin thank you
For the MBX Super Chases...ive found three 32 Fords from last year, two were three days apart, found the Ford GT from this year and found the Audi R8 the other day. But thats it because around here, the distribution is so wonky..the stores get the same cases over and over which is how i found the 3 32 Fords so easily, but getting in new cases takes so long. I see the Audi says there is 6 Super Chases for 2025...but i never see that many, its always the same ones
I am happy to find a TH or STH, or even an SC, but I do not seek them out. Sometimes, like a bunch of the Greenlight chases, they look worse than the regular version
Ayyy. It's necessary for them(mattel), and I just want to make sure all the homies understand, and can make informed decisions about whether they want go upside down in a bunch of dumb-bins. 🤣
I started collecting real versions of cars and just a few fantasy castings. I'm slowly stopping on fantasy except for RTH'S or STH'S. I have around 450 treasure hunts to STH'S. I just love diecast, what can I say. They gave me great joy as a kid. Full pegs vibes ✨️ your way. Give the fur babies a treat for me. I sure miss mine.
Collecting HW is just for fun. I get what I like. No chasing. I’m more prone to pre-order the really cool models I want with MiniGT, Pop Race, Tarmac Works or Kaido House. I understand the thrill of the chase but for some reason with HW it just seems a little off putting with all the scalping going on. I dig some of the special lines that come out but not gonna let FOMO enter my reasoning. I’m just here having fun.
its because they get 2 surfaces, if they use the sides or top, the front and rear gets the shaft. Except for premium or RLC. At the end of the day Supers are still "1 dollar" PS- thats a C8 lol
Hi, I have been collecting for about 40 years now I've seen it all,so I have turned to customizing my own cars now. About 2 years and I have about over 300 1 of a kind hotwheels the way I like them. Who needs supers anymore.
I agree that chases and supers are not worth it. Still think the are cool. Just got my first matchbox collectors the 1993 M3. The packaging on these collectors are way better than any hot wheels you find in store.
I really wish they would sell the cases of the silver series online. They do in Japan actually, but just not in the US where the stores have exclusivity. I don't mind buying double or even triple the entire set just to have it, and locally sell/trade the extra sets away. Without that, I have real trouble finding them in person, and they are crazy pricey online... I have only gotten a couple online very very luckily. I got the vintage set minus the Camaro, 3 of 5 of the other vintage set (no corvette + maverick), for right at retail shipped after tons of searching. I had to have the Tubular Trucks set and ended up paying about double for it, though it ended up with blister damage so they dropped it down to just above retail... It really just doesn't make sense that the silvers are exponentially more difficult and more expensive to get ahold of than premiums, where in most cases the metal/metal + real riders premiums are CHEAPER than the silvers. Mattel isn't benefiting from this, and the collectors certainly aren't either, so what is the point of all this? The easiest silvers to come by are the 6 packs they do each year, zamac + japan + euro.
I did not know all STHs were not finished. Kinda underwhelming. Not having found any, guess I wouldn't know. Thanks for the enlightenment. If I find one, I'll pick it up but I'm not focused on it
Sorry Walter, i have to disagree on them "dictating what is cool" in that regard. The reason the 510 got more hype than the Jaguar is because the 510 wagon is a popular casting in any form, and the Jaguar is not. WE dictated that the 510 wagon is more popular, not Mattel. Remember that the 510 coupe was a bit of a peg warmer when it first came out, but then it became popular because the collectors dictated that it was worthy a few years later, because the demographics changed. Gotta nitpick something else as well. That 510 wagon Super is a "3 pass", left, right, and top. Regardless, great video, keep it up!
the super or chase is finding the cars you like thats the super part lol. value is only monetary if you looking to resale... I open most of mine so value is out the window 😂
I'll always prefer a plain coloured casting with the head and tail lights detailed over a side livery. The purple XE SV project 8 Jag and a red F-Type Jag {from the multi packs} are excellent looking castings with just their head and tail lights detailed. TC.
If you are going to register your car, exhibit at car shows A vintage car is one that was manufactured between 1919 and 1930. An antique car is any car manufactured in 1975 or earlier (older than 45 years old). The classic car is a vehicle manufactured in the 1990s or earlier (at least 20 years old).
I rember going through a dump bin at walmart and the pegs and I managed to find 8 of the 2024 59' chevy impala and I grabed 3 one for me loose and carded and one for a friend since he hadn't found it yet but every other one I would find I gave to people that were also looking htrough the dump bin. I have given up on finding the supers if i find one I find one but I ain't gonna go to a billion stores in one day to push my luck and if I really want the super i'll grab its mainline counterpart
What I don't understand is why older real Rider treasure hunts fell so hard in price. But new super treasure hunts are so expensive.
The community is comprised of larger number of "covid collectors" vs, the pre-covid collector. With that, the majority only comprehend the current. As well as, the value is built of "who/how many can I flex on with this post." Real talk

It's hit or miss. Some but definitely not all
Supers are not that super. Love the Porsche collection friend 😍 merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤
Once the hype dies down on the current stuff, it too will tank in price
I don't waste time searching out treasure hunts or super treasure hunts , if I aquire it's not due to going out of the way to obtain it. I like what I like that's what is added to my collection. It's a bit of a sham.
This guy is that cool guy you never get as a friend. Subscribed.
Cause all my friends are my pals. Welcome to the table, PK.
How my room looked years ago when I was collecting - then along came first kid and my money and space went bye bye
New to collecting and I’m glad your page popped up. Can’t wait to grow with your knowledge bro.
Ayyy. Welcome to the hobby and channel
I got into this hobby about 5 years ago solely to collect Volkswagen castings. I was quickly sucked into the hype of STH/TH game. You and I have the same story.

Wow. What a way to experience a first-ever. I'm with you, and will not concern myself
I’d say I open 70% of all my red lines and 90% of everything else 😊❤
So you play with 160%.... good ratio imo!!! Good vibes!
Lol.
Soups are fun for the chase/hunt factor but I like watching your channel because of how informative you are with the details and history of the cars. You appreciate the quality of each car from deco to performance and Easter eggs

You made my day with this. Card collector? Now that's a hobby. I have two close pals that are into it. Very cool, and meticulous hobby.
Never really look for treasure hunts myself. Typically if I really like a casting I grab a couple customize and one to keep carded. Thanks for being a collector
I agree, if I take the effort to go hunting and a new case has just been put on the pegs, I deserve to be able to complete my set at that time.
Sounds fair to me.
Went through some bins last night at Walmart.

If that’s your

Wow. True collector right here. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
What website you use. I usually have an extra car of something because I forget what I have lol. I just want 2 one loose one carded.
@@thestokes813also viva the strokes!!!! big fan!
Interested in the website too. Trying to create an excel sheet to track inventory.

Yup. Agreed
Thank you for always keeping it real for the hommies out East! Jay-
Ayyyy. Real recognize real. 👊🏽
It's hard enough to find all cases for the mainlines.. damn a chase!!😂
Not worth my time and energy.
Always chill vibes Walter! I agree that the TH/STH game gets out of hand. There are so many great castings and other diecast brands out there that give good value for the money. Thanks for freeing the 959 for us! They look good don't they! Great video and great hearing your thoughts!
She is a beauty. They did really well on this one
Great info and show. I open most of everything I get. Have a great day.
Freedom!
Music is always so dope on your channel bro 👊🏾. Love the content
Ayyyy! Truly appreciate the good words, and you riding along. Sending those full peg vibes your way

Me and you are in the same boat I get you on the Super Treasure Hunts I understand and hype makes the price go up
It's just unnecessary hype
Very news the vintage!!!
Personally, if Supers use metal bases? I would consider getting them.
But as of now, I prefer stuff like premiums & vintage hot wheels over Supers & chases. That's just me personally.
Or were simply better than the rest.
I love and was so happy to find the 62 Vette from last year in the mainline..such an awesome cast
Love that casting too
Evening Walter and animal friends. Hope your weekend was good. Really love those Vintage sets, only missing a few. Woot woot! Like your style
I agree with you, Walter, on the super treasure hunt hype, but let's face it, we still get a little thrill when we find one... :)

I am absolutely gob smacked by your red line Porsche. My insider is a Porsche guy too and 50 car collection.

Only way i pickup hotwheels anymore is on the pegs for 2$ or less or fleamarket in the 50c bins.
Nice set up, I see your buddy in the back ground.... Ive given up on collecting sets, I just collect the ones I like...
Minus boulevard and transports... I just buy my favorites
............."TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY".....LOL YYYYEAHHHH vibin. merry christmas walterrrrrrrrrrr! gifts will be sent out this week
Please message me for updated address
I feel you 100% quality is jist going out the window with hotwheels
I appreciate the knowledge and insight. I need to pay attention to detail more than a TH logo. I love your thoughts on die cast. Keep it coming. Great video as always
There's soooo much more
Killer video - I really enjoyed it. I like your take on all this.
Appreciate ya. Happy holidays

Correct. I should've mentioned that

Thank you for saying the things that need to be said. The state of Diecast collecting is what it is. I don’t lets it deter me and never will. But things do need to change drastically!. And has to start at the top and the only way that happens in my opinion is these very conversations have to be had.
So with that I say Thank You and as always . Until next time 🤙🏻🍺
Pretty much my thoughts also.
I’m happy that I stumbled upon your page. You have a new follower my man.🙌🏽
Ayyy. Thank you! I appreciate it
Totally agree sth should be full tampo
Thank you for the video and the Good music too ☺️✅Sending you warmth from Southern California ☺️✅🇺🇸 🇫🇷 .
Thanks! A little bit of those warm zephyr sound nice
Immediately hit with that good music 🎶 ✌️💯
Never stop the music! 💚💛❤️✅️
Ah yeyeah! It’s been a minute man! Had to take a break from the hobby to get my mind right and watching your channel(my favorite) was too painful. 😂 I missed you and your channel I’m glad to see you’re still thriving and the same cool dude!
Brad!!!!! Welcome back to the table. Hope all is well on your planet.
@ all is well! Sorry I’ve been so distant. 😂
Hi Walter and Abbey dog sending you both full peg vibes .
Ayyy my G!
LIKE THE COMPANIONS.....AND THE PASSION..
The dudes. 💚💛❤️
Yoo Walter 🎉🎉 awesome video like how you make us collectors see how mattel works and gets us with certain case drops n what not great title with the b/s😂🎉🎉
Lol. Calling it out
Another great video, I do have quite a few supers that I found on my hunts but I don't go crazy looking for them, alot of their value is based on hype. I have been collecting more mini gt and kaido house models recently, some really nice castings for the price point. I don't even bother going after the kaido house chases and event exclusives, you'll go broke trying to collect them all.
Hyped generated from a false sense of exclusivity. Supers aren't rare, just uncommon
Now you've got me wanting to see Just your Porsche collection.
I hope it's everything you want it to be.
I need that Rlaarlo MK 787 RC car, A 2002 Hasbro voice interactive Astro Mech, And a 5 foot wide Millennium Falcon.
It's why I stays broke. lol
That's a serious list
I never did find the chase red Camaro...wave two with the 62 Vette is out now in my area
Tough one to find. Mine was given to me
Let's see some of those shiny prem's go down the track!
Will do
I love that classic mercedes hot wheels bro. I mostly collect nascar diecast.
Beautiful cars, are beautiful cars... Nascar is nuts! Just absolutely bonkers! This is all praise
Happy Sunday Walter!
Ayyy. It's snowing, and I'm stoked
I feel you! Good for you for branching out.
Walt is back baby our own dr Doolittle of Dicast.... with all the animals and such.
Ayyyy
FYI, the Vintage Racing Club mix one has been peg warming my local grocer all year. They have all of them except for the Camaro which I've yet to find anywhere. They just lower the price to $3 too. I'll be surprised if mix two makes it because they don't seem to be selling. The mainlines don't sell well there either.
Yeah, some.collectors haven't learned what's good yet. Oh well. More for us
For full appreciation of any casting is to open it and display where you can view it place it with other favorite castings = happiness
That's bible!
"Wow somehow I just keep finding Supers every month at every store Michaels.! ...Tuma
Ayyyy. "I am one of you"! Gotta get a live going asap, and definitely fo this things for you, and the others like you. Appreciate you. 👊🏽
Love it....I'll be ready
Ayyy! Sounds like a great day at the pegs!
I see the Vintage racing silver series in Hobby lobby
Bro, the music brings me back to GTA IV!! and the Hot Wheels!! perfect!
Ayyyy!
Lol. You ain't lying.
i think you nailed it
i noticed it when i got the gt 500 purple now i have a thousands of mianline ones on the hunt for the st when i got it i thought the mainline look better
i like your show you be knowin thank you
Pretty sad offerings, and it makes the unaware go wild.
I’m learning as I go. I’ve never had a RLC but love them. I’ve been selling what I own mainline and a few supers to buy rlc to collect
That's the hobby my dude. 👊🏽
Fully agree with the Supes but im not complaining, the Jaguar being fully detailed yet one of the cheaper supers out there is a win for me
And that's a fact! I'm good with it.
Wow. That's a good spread
I am happy to find a TH or STH, or even an SC, but I do not seek them out. Sometimes, like a bunch of the Greenlight chases, they look worse than the regular version
Yeah, they aren't for the looks sometimes
Absolutely agree with the chase argument. Valid opinion brother 👍🏽
I think we have the same problem. 😊
@@thehotlineofdiecast.7623 stopped at Target on my way home from work this morning and found the B case RTH and STH. I was stoked.
Corvette & Camaro 🏁
Wow I had no idea some had engines under the hood still but just can't open. 5:03
Yeah, I'd say majority of them
Collecting HW is just for fun.
Ah ha. Sounds like you have collectionnof things that matter to YOU! Outstanding!
its because they get 2 surfaces, if they use the sides or top, the front and rear gets the shaft. Except for premium or RLC. At the end of the day Supers are still "1 dollar" PS- thats a C8 lol
They get however many they'd like with the corresponding program. They typically stick to three passes, or less.
Hi, I have been collecting for about 40 years now I've seen it all,so I have turned to customizing my own cars now. About 2 years and I have about over 300 1 of a kind hotwheels the way I like them. Who needs supers anymore.
You my friend have figured it out.👏🏽 😊👊🏽
Walmarts here in Canada got dump bins of ultrahots…it was pretty cool.
Insane!
Probably because they were taking so long to show up at Targets...my Target is still on wave one lol
@@HotRobWheels no targets left in Canada… the ultrahots were only showing up at toys r us before this…
@NitrousDiecast ahhh I gotcha.
Corvette 🎉
I love the dog
He's the dude
What's up Walter hope you're enjoying your weekend brother,I always appreciate what you do 💯💪✌️ Happy Hunting
Just here to start important conversations. Lol
The Camaro in that set has a casting error on the door handle it's back word's!!😊
Oh word?!?!?
I agree that chases and supers are not worth it. Still think the are cool. Just got my first matchbox collectors the 1993 M3. The packaging on these collectors are way better than any hot wheels you find in store.
I think all supers should be as nice as a premium. Metal / Metal with real rides. #premiumsuper!
Agreed
That’s the one I’ve been looking for also and there’s one more and I can’t think of it ?
Hi sup amigo great castings like always blessing G 😎✌🙏💪
Always here for the good vibes. 😎 Appreciate ya my dude
I can understand your process to collecting. And definitely could benefit ya if they would/could offer the cases.
Our Walmart just got in a shipment of the Mercedes 300 SL on the carrier I think I'm going to pick up one of those.
Oh word!?!? Sending those full peg vibes
I did not know all STHs were not finished. Kinda underwhelming. Not having found any, guess I wouldn't know. Thanks for the enlightenment. If I find one, I'll pick it up but I'm not focused on it
Totally pick 'em up.
Yep, it's definitely a three pass considering the left side.
It’s funny because where I live I’ve only ever seen the gold lambo and white bmw for sale at a topps grocery store. Never any of the others you showed
Dang. Well if ya need em, I can grab the rest for ya. I think
the super or chase is finding the cars you like thats the super part lol. value is only monetary if you looking to resale... I open most of mine so value is out the window 😂
Amen Aaron!
I need that purple lid.
Lol. It's a kids columbia hat
I was at my Walmart a few day's ago and I seen 1 out of 5 of the Mustang silver series the White 1984 Ford Mustang svo
I'll always prefer a plain coloured casting with the head and tail lights detailed over a side livery.
The purple XE SV project 8 Jag and a red F-Type Jag {from the multi packs} are excellent looking castings with just their head and tail lights detailed. TC.
@mathewhudson7649...plain colored cars are sooooo boring hell you can see that every day .....Cars with cool decos are the only reason I like HWs
@@WILLIAMWILKINSON-r4b I hear you ✌🏼 we all like different things. I just prefer having my lights detailed. Cheers
I think the Porsche 959 is probably one of my favorite cars out there. One because its so rare and two its AWD and fast even for todays standards!
First super car.
Ford Maverick first year was 1970. I remember reading that it was born out of the idea of making a 4-door Mustang.
I believe this casting is of a 74. Cosmetic changes were the only difference. Can't really see them because this is a custom
For a short time i drove a 74 4 door Maverick ... 6 cylinder with good heat and room for my buds. Decent mpg but no go.
If you are going to register your car, exhibit at car shows
A vintage car is one that was manufactured between 1919 and 1930.
An antique car is any car manufactured in 1975 or earlier (older than 45 years old).
The classic car is a vehicle manufactured in the 1990s or earlier (at least 20 years old).
Gordon, thank you. Only thing we're missing is brass era. Considering these are toy collectibles, I've gotta believe they go by that standard
the RLCs are nice...
Where is the TH on that 2020 Vet?
Great video my friend very informative
Thank you! Appreciate ya riding along.
Running around like chicken with our head cut off for supers is the biggest trick Mattel has played.
