Getting your stuff bulldozed is a terrible feeling... I had it happen to me once. But i was able to grab my tent. No time to take it down, i just grabbed it... The people who ordered the bulldozing should at least give them time to get their stuff. Sometimes homeless have VERY sentimental stuff that these people just bulldoze and trash. Like Homeless people are garbage.... Its sickening! Im so glad you Bought Kale another tent! Bless You Michael!

there is a homeless camp hotline, whom ever reported Kael, did it about 3 weeks ago. The backlog is appox 380 camps with 3 weeks out

I had this happen to 2 homeless guys I help out. They also lost everything because they weren’t there when they showed up. But I believe they knew because I saw the police there a few days before and the city many times. They were told that it was private property and they still chose to stay. Plus the garbage was getting out of hand which I believe that’s what got them kicked out. The good thing is that they were able to get housing a few weeks later. So they are better now.

Michael is outstanding, helping people with necessary items. Its extremely dangerous on the streets. Fall asleep and your boots could be stolen. Here in the city where I reside the powers that be have decided to empty the C wing at the county jail, they expect the homeless to go there when temperatures fall. I predict that before spring comes there will be homeless people who freeze to death. Such a ridiculous idea, I believe it's a war on the poor the addicted and the mentally ill. I am truly ashamed of our elected officials for coming up with this plan.

He’s so hardened and “grumpy” but Kale is a pretty sweet guy under it all. The two of you make me chuckle with the banter back and forth. Then he says “I love you” and for one second I can see the kind of guy he really is again. And please don’t think I’m naive guys, I see fully what is happening and what he’s doing. My son met a guy this morning, just sandals, no warm clothes, said, he justgot out of prison, they just more or less justdumped him, it was chilly this morning, my son (really doesn’t have a lot of money) gave him 100$, he told him, he can do whatever he wants to with it, but maybe he wants to get a room for a night or two
I still help underprivileged people with dog/catfood for their animals

I pray so much things can get a little better and it's hard seeing so many elderly with no hope. We looking into grouping them into sharing home's but do you know how hard that is and to keep other's out of the homes so they don't lose them. Winter coming so looking for tarps again to cover there cardboard over there tent's snow will be here soon.

If I spent my hard earned money to buy him blankets and food and he acted like that I wouldn’t be pleased and willing to help him next time. Luckily the people I help are very appreciative of the things I give them. I haven’t encountered anybody like that in my journey of helping the less fortunate. It’s like Michael is doing him a favour and not the other way around !!!

God bless you Michael it's heart breaking seeing people on the streets we have them here in Ireland 🇮🇪 I am terrified of them myself I always give my grandkids food and clothes for them we brought our 2 son's and our daughter up to do one act of kindness a day they still do it today my eldest son has 6 kids 3 boy's and 3 girls and he tells them to make sure they do an act of kindness a day and you will soon see you have a lot to be grateful for they do too
