Number 1 looks like it's trying to be too colorful. I'm gonna have to say number 2 is the winner. It just looks so much more organic. Almost as if the pumpkin stem is losing life after being plucked from the patch.
2 years ago I printed a dozen of the WorksBySolo jack-o-lanterns and gave a bunch of them away to friends. Everyone was blown away by them. Kept a few for our house and put them up in the windows. It's a great design! I ended up using the remix that had the integrated hole for the tealights - which I recommend checking out.
Stem 2 is much more natural looking and I definitely prefer it, however if Stem 1 is super bright in person that's probably why the kids like it. It's fun and cartoony.
Love it! My birthday is Halloween, so this video just made my day! That fallen angel is legit! I've had my eye on that pumpkin beast for a while now! Stay spoopy!
You should Design and 3D print some jewelery, some nice Segmented watch straps for example - I have never seen it before and its probably really effective. Even rings (which are adjustable to fit different size fingers) would be amazing. You're Welcome
I forgot how shaky your time lapses were. I have a suggestion. Either use octolapse or do what Devin from make anything did and change your Gcode to make the head move to a certain position and press the camera shutter button
Great Halloween show, Joel. That Jack-O-Lantern printed beautiful! Gotta get a light in there! Thank you for choosing my model as one of your top 10! (Oh... stem #2 ;-))
The service you advertised sounded really cool but 20 dolors a month is a little expensive. It would be nice if the was a plan between 5 to 10 dolors a month with just 1-2 test filaments.
I was curious if you have happened to take a look at the new M3d Promega? I'm kinda curious to see if it's actually decent or if it's all smoke and mirrors
Huh. I printed something with four-year-old ABS just this morning with no issue... You wouldn't think that the age of ABS is something you have to worry about, since it's petroleum-based.
You're so weird! I love it :p That 3 year old filament: How was it stored for those years and did you do anything to prepare the filament before using it?? also, the darker strem looks much more natural to me, the brighter one looks too florescent in comparison to the pumpkin (not sure why i almost said onion instead... Im weird too, I guess.) Also, i am very new to 3D printing, I've not even finished off my first spool, yet. I've been keeping all my fails, scraps, cold-pulls, supports, etc. in a can beside my printer, just so i can weigh it when the spool runs out! How much scraps did you save before giving up and just tossing in the trash?? :p
I took a look at makerbox.me for 1.75 you get 4* 16.5 meters lengths for $19.00usd... vs a boring 1kg spool from china at 330meter for about the same price... Ie from makerbox you get 1/5 amount. or to look at it annother way, they are charging 5* the normal price. This is just not worth it.
@2:00 there are LED flickering tealights that would work great for this - no open flame!
Your kids are absolutely right the crystal coloured stem is the right choice for the pumpkin.
Cool!
Number 1 looks like it's trying to be too colorful. I'm gonna have to say number 2 is the winner. It just looks so much more organic. Almost as if the pumpkin stem is losing life after being plucked from the patch.
Very reasonable evaluation. I must agree!

That's AWESOME! Thanks!
White lithium grease does wonders for those geared prints.

Least the cracks in the skull are fitting for a Halloween decor piece.
For every model that you were showing off, it felt like I was watching some home shopping channel. :P
I prefer stem one, I'm also printing Halloween pumpkins. 11 of them and then stringing it to a chirstmas led light set.
Yes! Got to light them up!
This has made me really want orange filament!
Me too!
Love it! My birthday is Halloween, so this video just made my day! That fallen angel is legit! I've had my eye on that pumpkin beast for a while now!
Stay spoopy!
Print a second pumpkin so you can use both stems
That's a wonderful solution! YES!!!
I agree with the kids on the pumpkin stem
Both stems look great. I’d go for the darker one, but in your position I’d go with whatever the kids prefer!
Print a second jack o lantern
You should use the prints with layer adhesion problems as a way to test out some of the common methods of fixing the cracks!
Pumpkin stem. The light green.
SpoooOooOoky Joel is hilarious and Awesome!
That screaming pumpkin gives me Starnger Things vibe
Thanks :D I love Stranger Things :)
Yeah
Stem 1
Halloween model mayhem looks great in tangerine orange.
That was a great video, Joel. My personal preference for the stem is the Repkord green, but both are really nice.
Also: Eeek! Spooky fails! 😱
YES! Repcord!
Excellent work! Great prints indeed!
It'd be awesome if you displayed the print time too on the side panel.
Keep up the good work!

Ooh I love the screaming pumpkin!
Might want to note the last one Mascot Mayhem isn't totally kid friendly. Happy Halloween to you and yours.
How is it not kid friendly?
The'battery' in the crotch area.
stem 2
Nice video, hugs from MyMiniFactory.
Sweet! Just picked up some Proto Pasta Tangerine HTPLA and I'm ready to go to spooky town! Also, that Prusament is bloody gorgeous!
Those are some great prints. Thank you for sharing! Those last 2 models are amazing.
Thanks ;)
Can you try printing an airless bicycle tire?
awesome i will be printing like crazy when i get my ender 3
I forgot how shaky your time lapses were. I have a suggestion. Either use octolapse or do what Devin from make anything did and change your Gcode to make the head move to a certain position and press the camera shutter button
Stem 1 is looking better
Nice finds of models :-)
Thanks for sharing :-)
stem two. It looks like it belongs more.
2, the darker stem looks better with the color orange.
Lol, why not htpla for the candles? also I wonder how metal filled would react
Great Halloween show, Joel. That Jack-O-Lantern printed beautiful! Gotta get a light in there! Thank you for choosing my model as one of your top 10! (Oh... stem #2 ;-))
the spookiest part was seeing all that plastic go into the garbage
Number 2 with ez. More vids like this please
"the raft stuck too well" that seems to happen a lot with the Xortrax Machines and Z-HIPS, seems like a pretty systemic problem.
Great Video! Am printing some of the models now :)
Put on both, cause it's SPOOKIER! XD
Not nearly enough cgi bats Sean! More bats I say!
MOAR BATS, SEAN!
Next year, ALL THE BATS
3D Printing Nerd can you pls do a review o the new Monoprice VOXEL. There aren’t any yet, and you are the best 3D printer reviewer... :)
Happy Halloween joel my friend
I would frame the spider web pop-outs.
I like stem 2, but if your kids like stem 1, you should totally use it. :-)
Great video! though the JOELROCKS code is not working.
The service you advertised sounded really cool but 20 dolors a month is a little expensive. It would be nice if the was a plan between 5 to 10 dolors a month with just 1-2 test filaments.
Excellent video Joel, I like the more toned down approach 😀
Spooky indeed! Nice video, Joel!
Wow. Some really great looking models too print. Thank You.
Dark green stem for sure!
That intro was awesome
Stem 2
just want to print something for halloween.
then i find this video, thanks!!
I was curious if you have happened to take a look at the new M3d Promega? I'm kinda curious to see if it's actually decent or if it's all smoke and mirrors
Got to be number 2 for me
Mascot Mayhem by FilamentFrenzy will never not look like 2 gnomes having some fun
I vote stem 2, the darker one
I’m so happy I watched this in the morning! Too darn spooky I wouldn’t have slept last night!
Can you print a kendama that will be cool?
I almost printed that geared Pumpkin yesterday, now I get to see a preview beforehand! :D
I love the intro
My pumpkin spider didn’t make it, big oof. Guess there’s always next year
I ran out of time! It's and a few other prints didn't make the cut. 3DMN did a great video on the pumpkin spider, though!
Maybe make a turkey spider for Thanksgiving? :)
I'm working on a Christmas bot...
Ooh!
Is that the cause of the cracking Joel? old filament
I say stem 2 looks better for the Jack o lantern
My vote as well! Thanks!
Failed Prints... Forever condemned to the Waste Basket of Lost Souls... until trash day anyway. High Fives and Happy Halloween to you and the family!
Huh. I printed something with four-year-old ABS just this morning with no issue... You wouldn't think that the age of ABS is something you have to worry about, since it's petroleum-based.
Right? I have other rolls of similar age that I am going to try
I liked the prints but I dont have a 3d printer, can I order this prints from the people that made them or you?
Amazing
Love your videos. I have been printing thing:2605388 at 300% and putting in a big light inside.
The darker stem
Does your Ultimaker support multi-material?
My Ultimaker 3 does.
Oh! I forgot you had that one. Hard to keep track of all 35 of them. Haha
Wait PLA isnt good for something?
8:39 Adam West? Is that you?
Try say "weasner" for Tanya´s last name.
You're so weird! I love it :p
That 3 year old filament: How was it stored for those years and did you do anything to prepare the filament before using it??

Saves EVERYTHING in the beginning. Not so much now. How was it stored? It accidentally slipped under a counter and I found it while cleaning :)
Boo Cat & Pumpkin link seems to be broken, I get a 404 message. I want to print it but cannot find a way to down load files. Thanks Joel
Looks like it was removed from the site for some reason. I added a link below that one to another boo kitty design from the same maker.
@@3DPrintingNerd Thanks Joel.
Halloween bringed me the ender 3😁
Also is rap..
I almost expected a jump scare somewhere in here....
STEM 2!!!!
What an intro! hahaha 🎃
Mario Ghio Neto thanks! I hoped people would like it! 😅

stem 1
2Spooky4Me
why is his nose always so red? i heard cocaine does that
LOL can't say this question hasn't crossed my mind. But hey, if that is the key to his successful channel then more power to him! I'm a channel fan
The intro probobably didn't go as planned 😀
stamp 2
I used the code and it gave me 15% off instead of 25%. Curious?
Uh oh. Talk to Printed Solid, they will fix it.
Gotcha. Thanks!
The message in the cart is saying 15%, but the actual discount being applied is the correct 25%. They just need to update the message.
hi friend
I was asleep. oops
1?

But we know Han Solo doesnt have any family which is why the empire GAVE him the last name of Solo..... ugh
