Delivered boats thru there a lot. Port Jefferson, Greenport and spent an entire season on Marthas Vineyard. I remember it was cold even in the summer. @@johnm5714
@@AskCaptainChris agreed. Martha's Vinyard is pretty but the water is cold. The saddest thing I saw there was the rotting hull of an old elco , the orca from Jaws.
@@AskCaptainChris my nephew lives in Port Jeff-From Greenport you were real close to Montauk and Shelter Island/Sag Harbor. Jimmy Buffets summer house is very close to the Shelter Island Ferry-which also runs over to Greenport.
