I have same problem. After complete dischage (with failed internal battery) validator was in same boot loop. I found problem on internal flash where is main application stored. If you have firmware you can extract this application file (valapp) from it in linux from jffs2 partition. Copy this file to cf card and disassemble validator to get access to pinout on motherboard. Connect via computer serial port with 115200 8n1 to validator. Power it up and let it boot. After you see message about mounting hda paste command to rename file /flash/valapp and hit enter. If you do it before was application automaticaly started validator doesnt reboot and hangs on screen with 9 little stars in bottom otherwise try it again after reboot. Now you have to rewrite valapp from your cf card to flash. After reboot validator is working again. Dont forget to change internal battery to avoid another boot loop. Then is recommended to update fw from cf to repair other hidden errors.
