Amazing ! As a huge Rammstein fan I was always wondering what synths do they use. I never realized I already have the right tool in my plugins folder:-) Many thanks for this.
OMFG! YOU'RE RIGHT! Damn. This is a huge discovery for me. Jesper Kyd (especially Hitman(1, 3 and 4) soundtrack) and Rammstein both are very big inspiration for me. And I've known about Omnisphere, but didn't bother to download it. But now I certainly will.
Yes excellent, notice that too on Omnisphere ;) lot of bands add epic samples and sounds from Omnisphere. If you want too the big sound 'Transition Effect' of Sonne is 'Crying Out' from Distorted Reality librairies from Spectrasonics too :D
Glad to see my thread from RammsteinWorld is useful to make this kind of videos, i totally suck into video making, tell us on the topic if you found something new 🥳
Which is the one that starts at 3:38 before Amerika intro? Is it maybe the outro of Stein Um Stein (volkerball version)? Sounds like a Twin Peaks one... I love it.
I’m pretty sure his samples are Locked in for every show, he probably plays the major Key Parts, while the Main rhythm sample is playing with the Song tracks Live.
@@journeyto100channel2 Yeah, i once had the pleasure to attend to one of their rehearsals back in (i think 2016?). I was there as an assigned photographer for a drum-magazine and we were allowed to stay there, as long as we gave them our equipment. I enjoyed watching their rehearsals but i could clearly hear a pro-tools session playing in the background, containing background vocals, various drum patterns, add. synths etc.
@@TinoSchulz1990 yup! I Geek out on that stuff lol. Having Something like ProTools and Set Tracks for them is all Logistics. @@journeyto100channel2 I stand corrected. I remember that it was a logic session. Did you get to those presets on your own? I'm asking this because I want to get a similar sound to some bands that I like but I don't know if people just get that with trial and error or if there is some place where people share the presets
I immediately thought this too. In a plugin named vital there is a preset ("everyman") which sounds almost identical to the original. Basic unison saw wave and a keytracking comb filter with a fast lfo modulated cutoff is the important part of the sound.
@@bobsbigboy_ I think the „plastic“ or „cold“ quality of their synth sounds is quite intentional, it matches their aesthetic. Warm and organic sounding analogue synths would contradict their style.
The fact that you had to change a riff to avoid getting copyright stricken makes it all the more impressive, honestly.
Flake sure loves his Omnisphere :D
Even the the high pitched opera voice in Sonne is just a pitched up sample from an old Spectrasonics Sample CD
That's right, axel coon used it in lamenting city as well.
Yes 👍🏻 Crying Out the name of the sample in the break before starting in Sonne at the beginning.
We need a part 2, this is aweasome
Oh my god! You literally had to change some of them for dodging from the copyright, what a champ! Great work mate.

this almost makes me want to go through the trouble of downloading and installing this 100gb monstrosity again 😂😂
lol same 😂
One of the presets from rammstein i like the most is the arpeggio from Stripped
As a musician, I've been using the Omnisphere plug-in for several years, but I'm not nearly as successful as Rammstein. Damn, why is that?
3:28 Paleolithic preset also used by Jesper Kyd in Hitman Contracts Slaughterhouse track

Great, it seems extremely perfect, a second part would be very good.
This is awesome, had no idea these were all presets!

Beautiful man, you're the only one who helped me
oh my god. this is so accurate. Copyright avoid mark Saya everythind. this is fucking amazing..
Waiting for Part 2 with "Wo bist du" synth solo :)
Pretty sure its a personal patch Flake made on the Ensoniq ASR called "Saurier" but you can replicate the sound easy, vocal pad with distortion maybe
Great stuff! Love it! Rammstein is awesome.
make part 2 pls
ok , i'm buying it!!!!

I guess they should discover the undercurrent extension if they haven't yet.
They probably already have them, maybe on the next record?

Rammstein would not be half as good without these
Good keyboard sounds are useless without an artist, Rammstein would be just as good without these, because they would use something else.
Sure, listen to Sehnsucht and Mutter ... No Omnisphere needed
