Danielle's dirty slaps to the head..Danielle also mocked Mayssa for pulling guard right after the fight on camera, when she's literally sat guard in her previous ONE matches to win. Happy that class and true skill beat dirty tactics in the end. Constant leg attacks, back take attempts, and wrestle ups from Mayssa to Danielle's one catch and consistent defensive cycle proves a clear victory. Mayssa did much more from bottom than Danielle did on top. Anyone who actually trains jitsu knows this was no robbery..Well deserving and class act. #AndNew
@MaelaAmor I dunno, Kelly seemed more aggressive. It was a very even match and you might argue Mayssa did very slightly more. Typically, to take a belt, the challenger has to do clearly more to win the decision. And that wasn't the case. Your mention of class suggests you have personal feelings about Danielle, and that would make you an unobjective observer.
This seemed like a different Kelly to me from previous bouts I've seen her in. Most of her other fights she strictly focused on her grappling. I don't know what all that dirty head slapping nonsense was or where that strategy came from but I'm glad she lost. I know it's not technically illegal but it's still dirty. If you want to be a better grappler then be a better grappler. Don't resort to dirty tactics. Hopefully this loss humbles her and she gets back to being more of a technical grappler and less of a dirty fighter.
A grappling match should never go to decision.. be more interesting if they forced aggression instead of letting people pull guard and sit on their ass
I didn't see enough of a difference not to call it a draw ... especially with a title at stake. It used to be you had to TAKE the tiltle from the champ.
Habe selten ein langweiligeres Bodenturnen gesehen. Und ich habe die Kelly als Gewinnerin gesehen, weil sie die aktivere war. Die Bastos lag ja nur in Käferstellung auf dem Rücken.
VERY CLOSE, could have gone either way, KELLY was more aggressive but BASTOS has the better technique. If it was a MMA fight KELLY would have won easily.
@@noelorano9276 I think he miss spoke. or just said it in the heat of the moment. 50g for a grappling match is not a bad pay day. i think they probably only make around 1 or 2 thousand without the bonus so it's their job to be aggressive and try to collect the bonus.

Kelly is a soo salty after losing this match. A sore loser as such will never be a true champion !
@@georgewkush542 100% I agree.

Thats it just 10 minutes one round could of at least been 15.
For grappling, they should have to submit the champion to earn the belt.

i don't understand how Kelly lost? What were the techniques to make bastos win?
