Rent in NYC IS INSANE. And it's all 5-99 year leases. We do well at conventions in NYC because we sell cards and video games at or below eBay comps.

The shop looked nice. Did they have the new Detroit Tigers City Edition yet? We have yet to see the jerseys, but the hats are lovely. The bottom of the bill of the new Tigers hat is really something.

I used to go somewhat regularly. Prices per blaster were $19.99 like everywhere else. While the 2020 retail factory set I got there was $49.99 MSRP also like everywhere else. They also had 20% off everything remaining from prior year at least when I went….Guess someone eventually realized wasn’t charging midtown Manhattan tourist prices.

The prices were so high because of location. The rent on that store is probably outrageous expensive. Everything in NYC is expensive.

Pulled an Aaron Burr Rookie card out of the 1846 Topps Hoboken set. Wanted to get the Rivals double hat patch card of Washington-KIng George III but no luck. Did you ever chew on 175 year old gum?

The MLB shop is a combination of NYC prices and MLB ballpark prices.
I bought 2 Stadium Club blasters from Target in California. Both blasters had a auto (rookies I never heard of). Was happy.
Series 1 was such a snooze fest
That’s Manhattan price in NYC. Tourists trap pricing. It’s always expensive downtown.
Now go to a game and try to buy a player jersey. My son always buys a jersey at the park. They didn't even sell player jerseys. You had to buy a blank then have them press it on and pick it up by the 7th inning. Terrible.

That looks like a great place if you wanted to pay absolute top dollar for anything. They probably mostly sell to foreign tourists.

Those things should be banned. But it would be far more important to ban opioids and alcohol. Those substances destroy lives en masse.
