- Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Today I am doing something I've been wanting to do for a very long time... But until the 1.0 update, I wasn't able to do it because it required the old transform feature that was just put back into the game. Once upon a time I built a robo gymnast that could swing and dismount from a bar, and later I built a parachute. Today I want to combine them to great a base jumping robo gymnast dare devil or something...

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Scrapman's gymnast is actually a correct representation while he swings around. I am a professional gymnast, and when we're making a full rotation, we start to swing from the center of the bar, and extend our bodies fully at the top.

I have an idea! Make a kind of catapult that flings a pod into the sky, which when in mid-air will transform into a glider that turns into a submarine when it reaches the water. While you're a submarine, go down a bit into the water and jet yourself back up to create momentum to get out into the air. When you are in mid-air, transform into a plane and fly away. Land on the ground and turn into a truck with some cargo. When you're a truck, get back to the spot where you were positioned as a catapult, then turn back into the catapult and start all over again.

2 years late but ive seen parachutes with a tail fin. There are also some that just have a line with a small parachute on the end just to make drag and keep you pointed in 1 direction.

Scrapman now you should make a guy that flips off, wingsuits, then parachute. Or instead of fliping off make a plane then transform to just the character then the character with the wingsuit then the character with the parachute

A hovercraft in a boat in a plane on a car. You have a car where the top is a plane. You drive, take off, and jettison the car bits. Then you fly the plane over water and jettison the plane bits and now you're a boat. Get that boat up to speed and jettison the boat bits and now you're a hovercraft.
make a robot guy that flips off a cliff, and give him a jet pack.
Please make like a robot that can jump of a cliff and dive into the water and after that it would swim

what would be cool if in sandbox mode they would make it so you can make certain parts of your creation indestructible
You should use the elrctromagnet to make a wall climber, just like in scrap mechanic

I discovered the same bug, where the transform tool glitched out moving parts, and made everything but the seat invisible, but still working.
