Thanks for the Game Nite shout-out! For clarity, Megan's RA split with first! They didn't play it.

Fun breakdown! I had the Sapphire/Steel deck from Game Nite. Most all of the decisions around the deck were based on the assumption that there was going to be a lot of Amber/Steel and there was. I faced it quite a few times and even managed to beat out Ruby/Sapphire on the draw in top cut. Since the meta is so sporadic, I figured this would be a good option.

Sorry for the long winded rant but just trying to get my head around the philosophy of the game more and how to build stronger decks and what’s good in a game like this and what isn’t. Kind of how Patrick Hoban sort of revolutionized the way people thought about yugioh back in 2012 when he went on that arg run. Again in my opinion the best deck has to:
    -Draw a lot
-Be good going second so I assume that means a form of removal or ways to get more ink in a turn than opponent.
-Do unfair things (I.e power card like new world)
-Present more threats than opponent does.
    -Proactive
Idk if you could add anything because I know you have a solid head for this game but all that to ask what you think the best 2 decks are? Dwarves seem to be it and hit all the criteria. I’m sure there’s more criteria I’m not taking into account.

Emerald Amethyst seems to do well into Ruby decks. I saw one play Lyle, make Tamatoa reckless, play a wide board, make the opponent Be Prep, and drain opponent for 5 lore.

It’s rough in this game because I yugioh it’s always been obvious what the top 2 decks are like dragon ruler books or mermaid fire fist. This game idk because the questing thing it’s hard to tell. The lack of Archtypes in this game make it tough to tell what’s good and synergies well. It’s almost to broad

Dude quantum im trying to get my philosophy down in this game but idk if I’m over thinking. Like always drawing cards is probably at the top of the list of importance for this game. I’m staring to not like the fact that you can just play a ready character and your opponent can’t do much so before it gets more out of hand something needs to be done because the game revolves into who can turn sideways more instead of actually play the game. Also next it seems like you need to be playing a deck that is good going second but even for yugioh both drawing cards and being good going second are important things. Now because of the way inking works it seems like playing a deck that can operate at lower curve is very important. Sometimes this game feels frustrating because unlike yugioh you can’t play your cards unless it’s one card per turn at a time. That’s why I lean toward decks with singers or ramp being the best because I can actually do multiple things per turn.
