I am so with you about the “bad choice” when you impulse buy!!! I have returned many a thing because of that feeling. I have decided I can’t trust myself when I go out “shopping”. Therefore I DO NOT go shopping without a list, shop online instead of in store, and ordering my groceries for pick up so not to go in and impulse buy things we DO NOT NEED!!!!
Thanks for answering my question 🥰 I like the fact that you keep a small amount of seasonal decor. It can be so tempting to buy so much around the holidays. Two boxes is a good goal!
Appreciate your answers. I like to use a "time will tell" bin. So i can really pair things down with out the worry. Then if I dont use the item in 6 months, i actually declutter it. Minimalism is a journey, not a destination. 🎄💚❤️
How do you not get tired of wearing the same thing all the time? That is a challenge for me. And not spending for a whole month is my 2024 goal. I have tried so many times and never been able to do it?!
So what helps me is setting a limit for how many hanger you can have. I spend a few months also paying close attention to the colors I wore the most. I used to buy very colorful clothing because I thought it was so fun but never wore them. Also try a no spend week first I have a few calendar on my website Minimalease.com and build up slowly to a month ❤️ thanks for watching!!
I've been a minimalist since 2008 or so. One of the things that helped me the most was taking pictures of an area and then look at it carefully and then decide to declutter that space. Also take before and after pictures really helps.
What a great video! Sheesh, I felt that so hard when you said that each time you’d leave the house it would cost you $50-$100. Same. My mindset though has completely changed recently and surprisingly I’ve gone into Target twice this week to return items and didn’t purchase anything. It’s the small wins like that that are adding to my overall decluttering accomplishments. Thanks always for the motivation❤️❤️❤️
I'm late to the party, but just a heads up, if you use pillow cases and sheets with ribbon the lack of wrapping skills go totally unnoticed and things are much calmer when you are doing presents.
I want to get rid of my instapot too! I just don’t like to clean it and I don’t even like cooking with it. I prefer to use the stove. Same with my rice maker.
Since I got rid of it I have never missed it 👏🤣 my husband did get an air fryer for Christmas and we use it sometimes twice a day! Finding how you enjoy cooking was hard for me but I think it made it so much harder having too many appliances that cluttered my kitchen 🤦🏼♀️
Thank you for always responding comments, that is very sweet. I will look through your channel to see if you have any videos, but if you don’t, would you consider making one about being minimalist with your daughter? I’m going to have a baby soon (my first one; part of why I want to minimize to be ready for when baby arrives!) and I found it difficult with all the options of products to buy on how to manage it the minimalist way, all seem very helpful and I want to provide the best for my kid and be a responsible parent, but I also don’t want to have a clutter home, I know it makes it harder to manage a house specially during this season. Also for when people gift you items related to your child that maybe you don’t need. Maybe you have experience and can share some advice on minimalist with your kids/babys?

Love it!
I don't think there is a right or wrong for organizing. It's only a matter of what works for you.
Great Q & A!
Thank you! ❤️

Sure! Great idea thanks! ❤️
I have Christmas tree decorations for 4 different themed trees. Am I the only one who rotates tree decorations?
I don’t but it sounds like it brings you a lot of joy ❤️❤️❤️
