Police forensic investigators, scientists, and academics collected samples from the unique stone-carved installation dating back around 2,800 years (early First Temple period), but so far - no one’s been able to answer the question: What were these channels used for?

Thank you for the English translation. 😊 Very interesting!
Thank you.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🌹
The City of David is a must see for all tourists visiting Israel. Unfortunately, many packaged tours skip this site. This is just one of the reasons why I recommend a private tour guide for your first visit. It's a bit more expensive than the packaged tours, so go with family and/or friends to share the cost.
Fascinating my friends!!! Just fascinating!!! ❤
Thank you for the English translation. Very interesting
maybe channels to runoff the blood from Temple sacrifices?
It's a floor system used for radiant heating of a room. Not water was likely circulated through the cannels, this heating the room. Could be King David's bedroom!

Was it the location of Tabernacle near King David's palace before the construction of The First Temple?

Maybe to channel the blood away from the 1 million Pascal lambs sacrificed on the 14th of Nissan?
Jerusalem each day the patterns and colors of your past revive the smells and flavors of your fathers are returning to you
Would the heat of the sun ferment Silan? Using these channels to wash flax fibers might be more reasonable.
I don’t know but from the top view it kids like it’s spelling something. It looks like giant letters.
Revealing to the public the excavation details is worthysome.Expecting more videos❤ from Kerala.

The kings date honey for all pilgrims

Maybe they were for washing clothes.
Perhaps the washing of robes or maybe even feet? The channels were surely for water to run down or through?
هل مسموح الدخل ومشاهدة الاثار ؟
Wonder if it is for some type of cleansing bath and multiple channels were for multiple people to sit in. In tje first part of the video, it reminded me of a Mikvah.
The channels look too small for that. Then again, it is hard to tell from just the video.
