The motivation question is a strange question to ask for a cleaning position... who is going to be motivated to clean a toilet? The thing that motivates people the most is money... If someone was to say in an interview that money was their motivation, would you instantly think they are not employable?
@@sophiayork3447 To pay rent, buy groceries, pay for daycare. That motivates 99.9% of cleaners. I would NOT recommend this question. Instead you may ask if they would consider a career in cleaning area (if you provide a path from a cleaner to a team leader to a manager etc). Some dream about being a nurse and will walk away as soon as they can, some motivated by money regardless of the area.
Great advice 👍 I have an interview tomorrow and I’m so nervous, not knowing what questions they’re going to ask freaks me out, I always get tongue tied but I know I work hard, honestly I would prefer to work for free for a few days to show them what I can do instead of an interview 🙈 I really hope that they can see I’m genuine through the fear on my face 😳😆
Thank you I am just now getting into the hiring stage of my company and I am so excited and nervous at the same time. This helped me out so much I took down notes. This is the first video that popped up and I can't wait to watch more of your videos and learn more from you. This is second year in business. Actually I wouldn't mind a mentor if you're available and interested It's very overwhelming, but I love it and doing it for my family.
Hey, that’s awesome to hear! So glad my voided helped! I have a course on this too, but if you are looking for a mentor, I have a membership with live q&a’s and we meet every week like a networking session for cleaning business owners just like you! Good luck in your journey! Always remember you have everything you need to succeed right inside you! Xx
as an autistic person, it would take me a few moments to collect myself to answer these questions, as communication can be hard for autistic person. I really hope you don't discount people for how slow they answer a question :(

Hi Ilze - very helpful video about four questions to ask potential cleaning specialists. I don't hire "employees" per se, however these questions will be very helpful when meeting with subcontractors.
I know I agree. saying all the right things is like putting on a performance. need to be able to be more honest. Should say I want the wage to buy things I need to live such as food and I want to work well so I get paid.
Oh my goodness thank you for this. I just got promoted to interview new comers. I’m so nervous 😅
What motivates me is see my customer smile
