    Are meningitis patients set on abx, antivirals and antifungals or just abx? Cause it could be either cause right? I mean I guess with assessment you could find the most likely cause… but like?

      Bacterial meningitis treat with antibiotics and droplet precautions...for viral antivirals

      @@joycekanyi1763 thank you for your answer, however how do you differentiate the different pathogens before blood cultures? Because when they get admitted and the signs and symptoms point heavily toward meningitis, yuh don’t immediately know what pathogen causes it right?
