Man great video. I am a smaller channel myself and only watch small channels because they have great content. Videos like this are right up my alley. Just subbed. Keep up the good work
Thanks really appreciate it!
I love your enthusiasm for your arc
I used double sided gorilla glue tape to keep my bit kits together, drilled a hole through both and threw them on my buildings key ring 4:00
I just put a thin ziptie through the holes at the top of the bit kits. Works perfect to hold them together. Just don't do it up super tight.
I'd keep the extra ratchet (7L?), in your tool pouch at least. If you need to get more torque on a screw you'll damage your Leatherman using any inline extension but if you hold the other ratchet near the head/bit it won't pass on much stress to the Leatherman bit-holder.
I can tell you the bits do not fall off the zapwizard holster. However, I have lost one ARC from the zapwizard holster. I still use it with the replacement I had to buy though.
How’d your ARC fall out?
Maybe paint the bits and bit kit orange to find them better.
That actually is a good idea I’ll have to do that. Thanks!
How do you carry that bag on you and do you like it? It seems a bit bulky for me. I need to make a compact EDC tool pouch, that can be on my waist most times.
It’s normally in my backpack, if I carry it on person I put it at my 6oclock on my belt.
when was the last time you used like 80% of that though?
It’s for the 20%
You use what ever is close, and when you need it you have it
Real question - what do people need with these tools especially ratchets and driver bits? I’ve never been in a situation where it was necessary to have on me.
I have a Milwaukee utility knife with the screwdriver end. That’s all I need. If I need more than that, I have my toolbag in my work truck which I drive everyday anyway
I guess it’s a more of a have and not need instead of need and not have. I know i was skeptical carry a bit kit and then I moved and actually used more than just the Phillips head bit.
@@bruhhzinski6560 I carried a gerber multitool until i broke the pliers twice, and I've been contemplating getting a leathermen or harbor freight one, that's probably why you showed up on my YT feed. I know you cant carry all of these on your person so if you need to have them with you for work, might I suggest getting a service pouch to clip onto your belt. If this is moreso to keep in your vehicle, a small standing tool bag with pockets can help organization. Personally, I have my laptop backpack that I try to keep tools out of and a Veto MCT that I have packed to the gills with my most used tools. Then everything else has a place in my truck. Less is more when carrying items on your person daily
Definitely the tool kit is gonna be a truck thing or ruck sack item.
Girls got their makeup, we got our gadgets lol.
Carried a Leatherman for years, but recently bought a Surge for the replaceable saw/file. My most useless add on was the bit extender. The Surge weighs a ton already, then you add the two layer bit kit, bit extender, ratchet driver, sockets annnnnnd you have not a multitool but a full on tool kit. If that is the case, why not just carry dedicated tools that will work better and cost less. The add-ons are getting out of hand and serve no purpose other than make Leatherman money.
BAD, TOO BAD. BYE.
