Past week has been a grind for sure. Managed to find some reds at the back of lighthouse lakes, you can get to in a boat from Lydia Ann. Red diet has changed lately too, lots of crab found in stomachs lately and they are hitting cut bait (lady fish mostly). Could not get them to even look at a lure, spoon etc when tailing. Put a shrimp in front of them and BOOM. Trout are holding in deep water drop offs of flats.
after i get my truck paid off im probably gonna get as shallow running of a boat i can afford.. What are your thought on this one, have you taken it in some pretty skinny areas?
I cringed when I saw you unhook the first Red and walked around barefoot. I could be wrong. I’m looking around for that hook. I only say this out of love. I was raised fishing in South Bay Texas my pops would always leave his hooks on the floor of his boat. Flip flops not allowed nor treble hooks thanks to yours truly. Lesson learned the hard way.
They launched out of Marker 37 Marina and headed south towards PINS (Padre Island National Seashore). Just not sure how much farther south they ended up (i.e. Baffin Bay, Land Cut, etc).
Hey drew, cora! my friend kat and i (miki) r going fishing with capt mike meza on thursday (8/20). we will be grinding it out in this insane galveston heat. ya'll said you'd take an invite....so....does cora wanna go fishin with us?
I love this video because it’s raw. Just to have a raw look into the life of a boat owner is so neat. Through the ups and downs, the experience will coming along 👍🏽
I've got faith in you guys..I always hit the like button before watching. I'm not a fan of frying reds, but that looked really good.(Most of my reds get cooked on the bbq grill) Love the sightcasting platform. lol

I'll keep my eyes out for you I have some questions about putting content on UA-cam. Is it worth it ? Time wise like do you make any cash or is it like a hobby?
