Any idea or advice which machine is better and advance upgraded one Xtool X100 PAD 3 or X100 PAD Elite 2 or Pad 3 for diagnostics and Mileage Correction. Please Advice
nice scan tool doc. i have an Autel MaxiSys Elite but i am going to check this out. looks like it has some options even my Autel doesnt have and for less money!
Yes it’s a good tool and as I said in the video I make no commission from this I’m just purely getting this product out there. For what it can do I think it’s well worth the price of £800-$1000
doc is there anything that can help track down CAN BUS faults or shorts? My E71 has something up with the Can bus between the CAS and the driver footwell module and no one can find it! I’d buy that tool in a heartbeat!
Hello friend, excellent review, I am looking for a tool to program BMW keys, I saw that you also did the review of the Otofix IM1. In your experience, which is the best to program BMW keys, IM1 or X100 Pad 3?
Olá a todos! Essa ferramenta consegue programar chave para vw polo 2019 sistema MQB. Adicionar chave pois existe uma chave funcional. O cliente apenas quer ter uma reserva, ok!
For that car I wouldn’t reccomend something like this, I would suggest something like a topdon or something like that unless you want to do things like this ?
@@BMWDoctor mate honestly I do everything on the bench lots of tools supposedly do it all via obd not a chance I’d risk it be interesting to see how it cracks the fem/bdc units via obd
Yep same as me you won’t see me deal with CAS 3 via OBD as for CAS 2 I know obd works without fault but I know for certain CAS 3 I haven’t found a tool as of yet to do OBD. as for FEM I know 5 people who have succeeded making a key via OBD but I also know 30 others who failed and bricked the FEM 😅
@@BMWDoctor looks like a decent tool to be fair I’ve not dealt with xtool before but I have got some of the competitors tools and they all claim to do everything obd 😂😂 Keep the videos up pal really enjoy them
No worries mate and yes I agree they all claim “to do it by obd” would I take that risk hell no. But I know which ones are safe for obd and which ones ain’t. But inexperienced people will believe they can do it all via obd. But I suppose that’s what my channels about to make sure they don’t do that :)
Great to see you back with some great videos again! What's your thoughts on the autel im508 or even the new km100 (handheld phone like key programmer - basic I know but covers a lot of modern cars)
IM508 is a great tool but it’s expensive too expensive when you can do all of that with other cheaper devices if you know what your doing. Most of everything That can be done on that scan tool I can do on the bench with tools not even half that price. I wouldn’t personally myself use a handheld phone key programmer they have made them before and they are not good at all one of them being the yanhua is a mobile app to do programming and cloning. Me personally I prefer the old laptop and getting physically involved. But to be honest it ain’t about what tool you use because any tool is capable of damaging or destroying the eeprom or the flash, it’s about knowing how to recover it and remake it. So for me any tool is fine but for your average person if you want to get into this I would reccomend strongly a device that is backed solid by a lot of people in the buisness that uses it on a daily basis. Xtool are very well known in the industry for cloning and programming much more then autel if I’m honest. Autel have only just started their range of products doing this so would I trust them ? Not really but don’t get me wrong autel software is excellent probably the best you can get anywhere. But as for going in depth on cars I personally wouldn’t use them.
@@BMWDoctor agreed nothing beats the old school methods on bench, but the amount of cars covered by these new machines is becoming so accessible so may as well take advantage!
That’s just it ! Years ago this was all hidden you would have never been able to find a tool years ago that could do all this and if you could you was talking ££££ but now there readily available and everyone can do it. As I said in the video the cost you would pay to have a key programmed or ecu cloned, you would be better paying for this and have it forever.
This has really got me thinking 😅 I may do that I have a special setup coming which will go with my name. I can’t wait to reveal that I set it up in such a way it looks good 😂
looks like am watching a xtool sales commercial dont buy this Chinese crap got myself one half te functions on it don't work on European cars pad cost 760 euros after the 2years free update you have to pay 460 euros for one year update its a scam don't buy

Your asking for a world of trouble doing cas3++ and so on via obd gonna be a lot of corrupt cas units and dead cars .
I wouldn’t do cas3 + via Odb as I know better. I know fully well it has to be downgraded 😉 I deal with CAS 3 all the time so not a issue for me.

Can you send a link
Just type it in on google it comes up. The price is what I stated so at least I stand correct on that 😅 £808 from xtool.
