What an apt tribute to the legendary musician, Hemant Kumar ji, on his birthday today, with this beautiful creation of his, so mellifluously rendered by him, in his very soft and soothing voice.
The very tender poetry of this beautiful song, .....Ye nayan darre darre, ye jaam bhare bhare....Zara peene do. Kal ki kisko khabar, ik raat hoke nidar, mujhe...jeene do ....sung as gently. The softness of his voice just diluting in the soul !
The entire lyrics are so romantic and heart warming ! Raat hasee.n ye chaand hasee.n, tu sabse haseen mere dilbar, aur tujse hasee.n ...... tera pyaar, tuu jaane naa !
One of my favorite songs of yesteryears, sung in the velvety voice of Hemant ji, touches my heart strings !
