- This is not a review of the prototype edition but the OG version of Instapump Fury with pull tabs and black outsoles. 2019 marks the 25th anniversary of Instapump Fury and Reebok re-released them in Citron/red/black colorway as well as the blue/black colorway for a retail price of $180.
This shoe definitely isn't for everyone but let me know what you guys think. Besides from the quality issues mentioned in the video, I am very happy with the purchase. If you are patient, you should be able to find these for below retail price.

this is the third instapump that i bought that keeps deflating, if some one knows how to solved it let me know
I am not sure if this video is still being enough for people to comment and respond but i will pin this comment so it's at the top for you. I haven't had any issues with the pump so far personally.

My bad a common problem. Yeah ill go for Jordans instead. Valve issues probably why pump shoes never really took off.

Thanks Fam 🙌🙌 I think Reeboks speak to me more since they used to be so big in the late 80s and early 90s when I couldn't afford anything haha. All the cool kids wore pumps so I want them now haha

Haha yepp for real. I also picked up the alien stompers and dmx Daytona a couple days ago. Buying up all the reeboks lol
The external pump was sold along with the insta pumps and used a co2 cartridge. When I got mine back in the day they bundled the pump in with it. The new ones look like the same pump mechanism. You could either use the manual pump or hook the external pump up to the release valve to instantly pump it up with the co2 cartridge.
That looks sick! Always want to see how the instapump would feel on my feet. The yellow and red look so sick. Matches our logo lol maybe we should all rock these too!

When it came out in 1994..I bought 3 prs @ Reebok Factory Outlet @ 59.99 US each. Loved the shoe, only issue was the heel would unglue about 100 miles in. So, I then got Reebok Canada to replace with blk/ red/blue, they did it twice ( nice of them) after a while I moved on to other brands. I think it was 1st shoe with that plastic plate. They were great!

Wow those are really loud sneakers. Reebok used to be a hot shoe company maybe that quality control thing became an issue. Still have fond memories of those pumps though!
It's very odd because I have never had issues with reeboks before including their lower end models. This is supposed to be one of their iconic models and it definitely is a disappointment in terms of the construction

Haha yeah glue stains are pretty common but not to.... This degree... The entire midsole and outsoles were sticky when I open the box 😂😂 I am doing good! It's been very busy with quarter close. Freeing up now

Reebok just re released them yesterday here in the states. It's the tall white ones with red accents. Not sure if UK is getting them tho. I haven't received them but I will be doing a review. It comes with a bunch of little extras for the 40th anniversary of the movie Aliens.

I've seen the picture with Her in them. The pack looks Mad though. Do you get the case too. I'd absolutely love them. I love big boots being big myself. The bigger the better when I was a Kid. I love these shoes but the quality.... on this particular re-release was awful. I was told that these look like McDonald's colorway lol.

This is always a very hard and subjective question to answer but I also have pretty wide feet and true to size worked for me. I wear size US 8.5 in most reeboks and i went with US 8.5 worked for me fine. Going a full 1 size up i feel like will be too big for you but without knowing how wide your feet are, its hard to know for sure. Hope this helps.

I briefly talk about sizing in the video but I think true size should work for most. I have pretty wide feet and I went true to size (fits me perfectly)

Ah gotcha - then basically the one featured in my video then. I do have to say the quality control on my pair was pretty awful. I have never owned instapump fury before and I was a bit disappointed as well tbh.
@@FiveMinuteSneakerTV yeah i can't disagree with anything you said in your video. i loved those shoes as a kid and to be given the opportunity to own them again was an offer i couldn't refuse. but now my memory is tainted because of the 25th anniversary ones because they were so bad. i had the purple ones too (slightly different design though)
ive almost come to expect that kind of quality control from nike, but not other brands. its unfortunate when you dont quite get something to fully match the value of what you spent.
I was quite disappointed for sure. The shoes were literally sticky around the midsole area due to the glue spillage haha
I wonder is the fit is for wide/fat feet
I briefly covered sizing on this in the video but I think once you get your feet inside the shoes, these should do okay for wide footers (I have quite wide feet as well and true to size worked for me). The only thing is where you put you feet into (neck area) is quite snug. If you can clear that area, you shouldn't have problems. I recommend going true to size.
