I admit I laughed a bit too hard at 2:42 when you responded to MAD STOMP's shotgun with a point-black grenade shot. I might have to build a new tetrapod based on this vid, looks like a cool build.
Glad you liked it! As always, I leave a timestamp in the description for the build in case you're looking for it. A lot of the fun of this one does come from the DIZZY - strange that Fromsoft didn't give it to any of the presets (perhaps they thought it'd be too strong!)
I could definitely see this as the test unit for the Vermeil legs and bomb thrower before equipping them to Michigan's Liger Tail. Basic BALAM weapons and AC parts, mixed with the prototype quad legs and explosive thrower getting sent out for a test run.
The EARSHOT is a different shape and, when mounted on the back in combat, faces upwards (instead of backwards like in the trailer). Not only that, but the weapon in the reveal trailer is clearly in a weapon bay; I'm 100% confident it's a DIZZY, although an EARSHOT would probably be a stronger choice if you want to change the build!
I agree it performs just like the earshot but has more than 2x the ammo for marginally less dmg and blast radius , and with the weapon bay it’s a pain to swap at time but the trade off is it’s almost always loaded if you fire 2 Halderman rounds first. I tried the build with earshot and it felt even more sluggish and I would frequently run out of ammo.
It's a pain in the balls to fight Karl Urban Nightfall with this build, the shield is piddly while having to manually switch right hand weapons means more gaps between firepower I never got the hang of explosives thrower either
The explosive thrower is now really strong, it deals good damage and stagger yet has a fairly short reload speed; the charged attack is especially great at hitting enemies above you. In my fight against NIGHTFALL near the end of the video, check how I'm comboing the weapons and always making sure to use the DIZZY when it's reloaded!
I think it's unlikely, as the Redguns usually have their emblems proudly displayed as well as having a dash of red or blue, but it's certainly possible!
It could be one of Balam's REDGUNS but it could be an independent mercs too, that guy may got the parts either purchasing it or get it from the black market
I really like this build it’s one of my all time favs in the game actually I find it a nice balance of difficult and rewarding gameplay I admit I don’t use the shield properly and have swapped it out from time to time for the 6 missle forward firing pack and have had great results
i know i'm waay late to the video, but just wanted to add this, after replaying that section in the reveal trailer multiple times, kinda sad that it's booster is trailer exclusive as you can see briefly around 1:32-1:34, but, considering the shape of the booster on it's leg that you could also see in the same timestamp, i would say p04 would make a good fit as it's kinda similar with them
Many people are quick to think it's an EARSHOT because I imagine it would make more sense, but it is definitely a DIZZY. Even so, the HALDEMAN/DIZZY weapon bay combo isn't half-bad!
This build looks so cool, but in practicality it's not that great. Very suboptimal weapons loadout, having the Dizzy as hand swap does not take advantage of being a quad AC at all. Then again, most NPC builds are suboptimal in some way. I remember also recreating the AC Last Raven opening quad build and that one was also not very good.
I tries to copy this on Formula andront,but it turns out it become a CREST Biped wit mine dispenser as an inside part,shield on left arm and shoulders,and lineargun on the back. I forgot to add the shotgun so...😂
I do manage to rebuild this AC but I did a little modifications to make it a little bit better instead of having the dizzy, I would replace it with the earshot and then for the right arm unit I used the Gatling gun to make it like Orisa from overwatch as for the core in the head, I use the melander c3 variant
Nope! If you want to go through the reveal trailer frame-by-frame yourself and compare, it's very clearly the DIZZY based on the shape of the barrel and the fact it's loaded into a weapon bay. The EARSHOT would make more sense as a choice of weapon but I don't choose the designs Fromsoft make, I just replicate them!
@@glip715To be fair, they put the assault rifle on the back with no hand weapon on trailer Raven, so… I updated my Trailer Raven design to have a Ludlow, because he actually has a Ludlow and a Scudder in the dirt next to his dead AC in Illegal Entry.
To be honest the reveal trailer tet always came across as a budget AC that's just Balam's take on BAWS tets.

The dizzy bazooka is a good secondary weapon, but what i see it's more like an earshot grenade cannon, but its up to you though

The commitment Fromsoft has to making sure ACs you see only ever use real parts (besides a few notable exceptions) is commendable.

I'm guessing this is the original Gun13 before 621 gets to have the name. We can see that those parts he's using all came from Balam.
