There is always one part black people do and that's making more volume into their hair. I think it's so funny because natural hair has the most volume and we still use a comb to make it even more. I love it and I can't wait to do it when my braids are finally out!
Hello, sitting here on my lunch break and I decided to watch videos. I clicked your page and I'm happy I did! Beautiful hair and great results! Thumbs up!
Began my natural hair journey in January of this year. I cut off my relaxed hair two nights ago and was literally left dumbfounded as to how next to proceed. Thanks to your tutorials which are are very clear, descriptive, and easy to follow, I no longer feel like a deer in the headlights! Subscribed!
So glad someone finally made a video with the sweet ginger cleansing rinse! I was using the clean rinse shampoo but it is out of stock. I will for sure be trying this new one now!
You and my daughter hair is the same type it's like you have 2 textures like hers I mean you are her hair twin and she's 3 love it!!! I'm watching you for now on to get styles for her and products
Thanks for responding and that is so true for me too...I did a awesome wash and go last night and I noticed when I put oil on it, it lost some of the definition/frizz....I don't want to use silicones tho, wish it was another alternative...Thanks again
I'm so glad you have continued to share your journey. I remember your videos when you had red hair so you sharing with us that you cut your hair after having damage and going through the growing process again is very relatable to me because I had the same thing happen and am at the same stage. I've wanted to try Camille rose but it's a little pricey and I was wondering if you've ever tried Cantu shea butter curling custard and how do you like it compared to the curlmaker?
this is the first video I've ever seen of yours..and I couldn't even listen to what you were saying because I'm in aw of your skin! lol it's so clear and soft-looking! lol
You're my hair twin! (In terms of curl pattern and hair length/ style). My hair has more of an Afro texture and tends to frizz more (high porosity woes haha). But any who love your vids ! Keep up the good work !
Hey girl, love love your hair and videos thanks so much for sharing. I use a leave in, EVOO, and Eco styler get (argan oil)... I want to try these products but have not purchased them yet, but I will soon
Your hair came out really cute! AND your spray bottle is cool too lol mentioned you in my tag video since you're the only other natural in BR that's on YT; hope they checked out your channel! My go to style has been the wash and go also. Recently I've started using the praying hands method instead of raking to avoid so much shrinkage; doesn't give AS MUCH definition but it's still really defined. I'm about 13 months post big chop/ 17 months total so my hair is still a little shorter than yours
I just love your face when you smelled the conditioner!! I kept laughing because it's cute and funny. It's also funny because I make that same face... that "smell so good it makya mad good" smell xD
Hey thanks so much for sharing these videos! Your hair is gorgeous! I just wanted to ask you though, when you don't do 'wash and go's' what do you do with your hair please, as in how do you style it after conditioning? I had a flick through all of your videos and couldn't seem to find anything. I'm in the UK and it's quite cold now, so wash and go's for me would just get mushed under my hats. 😫 do you use the LOC or LCO method when you don't wash and go? Please let me know, or better still do a video! Thanks in advance.
My go to summer style is definitely wash n gos. I have a question. I noticed that your hair is very defined with water alone. When I get out of the shower, my hair is frizzy in some areas. Do you have any tips on how to tame the frizz before adding a styler?
The conditioner helped a lot with the texture and feel of my hair right out of the shower. What's going to help you before adding a styler is a leave in. A leave in is essential for frizz because it moisturizes the hair.
Idk if this will be helpful but I do my wash n go's in the shower. Granted I only use three products and it's a very simple process but in the shower while it's soaking wet is when your hair has the least frizz.
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!! I must have missed something though. So, i need to ask. do you prefer gels, creams or butters on uour hair? I believe we are hair twins. Thanks!
have you ever used the true by made beautiful hair line? I bought it but I don't think it's that great, just wanted to know someone else's opinion on it.
Beautiful results!! I recently gave the Curl Maker another try & it was a success. I contemplated posting a tutorial on it but my hair wanted/needed a little break from using gel/jellies lol. Wash & Go's are my go to summer style as well! Being that you're Louisiana based, were you attending the New Orleans Natural Hair Expo this weekend?
I'm glad to know that you've found a way to make the Curl Maker work. It's a great product. I definitely plan on attending the Natural Hair Expo 😊 got my ticket! Are you?
It truly is. And Yes! Got my ticket last night, I'm very excited being that I've never really been to any type of natural hair event, so I'm definitely looking forward to experiencing it all
For a 'wash and go' hairstyle shampoo your hair (focusing mainly on your roots), then condition your hair (focusing mainly in the ends), comb you hair while the conditioner is still in and then rinse it out with cold water. Dry you hair with a microfiber towel (or T-Shirt) and apply a leave in conditioner. Finally, rake a gel or curl cream through your hair to define you curls and let your hair air dry. This is what I do I hope that helped
I'm kinda scared to dp this because when I wash my hair it poofs up easily and my hair is a different texture from her's I don't want to leave it over night and it becomes all poofed up and nappy so what do I do?
It is too hot right now for anything other than a big puff on top of my head. I just double-wrap a headband around the crown of my head to keep everything up and away from my ears.
Sometimes I use a silicone based serum but I didn't for this look. I've tried oils to break the gel cast and for shine but rather than smoothing my hair, it disturbs its definition because it's not as slippery as a silicone but I don't find I need anything as such with using these products.

The wash and go is definitely my go to in the summer or whenever I am being lazy!
Yes! The wash and go is a perfect lazy day style.
+YoursNaturally11 can I use a regular dryer to do my wash and go if I don't have a sit dryer?
Your reactions, when a product smells really good, are PRICELESS. Too funny. :)

Thanks for responding and that is so true for me too...I did a awesome wash and go last night and I noticed when I put oil on it, it lost some of the definition/frizz....I don't want to use silicones tho, wish it was another alternative...Thanks again

Your curls are gorgeous! How often do you do your wash and go and how do you maintain next day curls?

Gorgeous Curls
My summer (spring, fall, and winter) go to style are wngs! :)
That turned out Awesome
My go to summer hair style is perm rod curls. That's my fave natural hair style (:
What's crazy is I've never used perm rods on my hair ever since I've been natural. Maybe that's in the near future!😊
A pick is a curly girls BEST FRIEND!!!!

Also, if you're rinsing your hair with hot or warm water it causes frizz because your cuticles are open from the heat.
Super cute and easy to do.
Thank you!😊
Your hair is sooo pretty
OMG this is gorgeous😍😍
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!! I must have missed something though. So, i need to ask. do you prefer gels, creams or butters on uour hair? I believe we are hair twins. Thanks!

Sólo hablo español y no entiendo donde encuentro estos productos
You say not to touch your hair when it's wet but how would i be able to stretch it out because i dont want it short
+Monochromatic do you band it when it's wet or after your hair is dry?
i think u might be my hair twin...:D
Where can I find one of the hair catchers for the drain????
Wal-Mart has them for $2
It is too hot right now for anything other than a big puff on top of my head. I just double-wrap a headband around the crown of my head to keep everything up and away from my ears.
beautiful😍
❤️❤️❤️
Legal gosteii
You are so beautiful! :)
Victoria H. Thank you hun! :)
Do you use any oils to lock in moisture or for shine
Sometimes I use a silicone based serum but I didn't for this look. I've tried oils to break the gel cast and for shine but rather than smoothing my hair, it disturbs its definition because it's not as slippery as a silicone but I don't find I need anything as such with using these products.
Ok....Thank you
