Lyle is played by Nicholas Alexander Chavez. He's very new to acting, his first big role was on General Hospital and he was on that show for three years. He left earlier this year to pursue greater acting possibilities. He won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Young Performer and was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor for GH. He is going to go far, skies the limit with this kid.
I miss "Sprina" (Spencer & Trina) on GH so much 😢, but I'm truly happy that he's doing so well in his career, and can't wait to watch him next in GROTESQUERIE. 😀
This episode was very innaccurate. Lyle didn’t wear his fathers shoes. There’s video footage of him at the memorial wearing green boots the person who said he wore his fathers shoes described it as dark brown loafers Lyle didn’t speak at his parents memorial In general everything about Lyle has been inaccurate he was not constantly angry and yelling and insulting people. and he would never insult his brother he was very caring and protective of him. Constantly worrying about him and taking care of him. He was like a father to Erik. Erik never told Oziel that he got the idea from the BBC miniseries and when that miniseries was airing Erik were in a tennis camp in Florida with a strict bedtime and no access to a TV. When Lyle went to Oziels office he didn’t want to speak with Oziel. He just wanted to talk to his brother he felt very hurt and betrayed that Erik went to Oziel about being suicidal and not him. Erik at one point ran out of the room crying Oziel tried to keep Lyle in the office and Lyle told him he needed to take care of his brother. Lyle didn’t blame what happened on the mafia and actually asked the police if they could get people to stop saying it was the mafia Lyle never said anything about killing dr Oziel When Erik confessed to Oziel that he killed his parents he never said anything about why he did it or the events leading up to it he just gave details about the killings.
@@loritorres715 right like this isnt anything new, like you said adaptations based on real life stories arent always 100% accurate, idk why its so hard for ppl to understand this
I finished the whole thing yesterday as soon as it came out;definitely mentally exhausted it’s actually very sad but Lyle was portrayed inaccurately from what his family says from this series coming out including Erik saying it
It’s a really good watch. I would just keep in mind that most of the show is inaccurate and portrayed Lyle terribly, and Erik terribly. I would just keep that in mind while watching it. But if you really wanna learn learn about the case, I would do a little bit of your own research.
I'm just gonna say it now this show is very inaccurate and is biased against the brothers It has a lot of the right information but Ryan Murphy some how twists it against them. As someone who has watched the full trial and researched this case for years it pissed me off but the performances are amazing but that's all I can say because I don't want to spoil
@@UrbanDecayLova247Episode 5 was really good, beside one little thing. Erik has denied being gay or “in love” with Craig as a teen many times. It was a terrible theory that the prosecution tried to use to say that Erik wasn’t abused. And later in the show they try to make it look like the parent’s finding out Erik was gay was why Erik went to Lyle for help. It was a great episode, but I wish they would have left out the stuff about sexuality. Erik said that as a younger teen he made him confused, but denied having sex with anyone besides his father and his girlfriend as a teen. They don’t even mention his high school girlfriend in the show. So while it is true that sometimes people have experiences like the character explained, Erik himself has not spoken about that. And it was a big reason the men on the jury were against Erik and a “theory” the prosecution tried to use to dismiss his abuse. So it stems from a place that was very against the brothers.
@@ipurpleu1668Erik’s never denied being in love with Craig. He’s never spoken publicly about having a relationship with Craig. All that information about their relationship comes from Dr Vicary’s redacted notes
@@Nikopayne7 Erik denied on the stand that he was ever sexually involved with a man besides Jose, which might a lie, but that is what he said. Dr. Vicary's redacted notes had to do with Erik saying that he was molested by a babysitter when he was five, about Jose having a "gay lover", and him talking about wishing his parents were dead growing up. He never spoke about Craig to Dr. Vicary. The only "evidence" of anything more between Craig and Erik was Mr. Menendez threatening Craig with a gun to "never show up at his house again". Which isn't evidence, but a basis of why people think there was more going on.
@@ipurpleu1668 it’s in the notes. Erik told Dr Vicary that he had a relationship with a guy after he broke up with his first girlfriend and that his parents found out and were really angry. This was used by the prosecutor in the second trial to try to impeach Erik on his testimony of sexual abuse.

Pretty Little Liars Summer School just got canceled
I saw 😭😭
Watched the whole thing then watch someone else react to it 😅, already heard they are thinking of doing Ed Gein for season 3
Yeah it seems to be confirmed, season 3 about Ed Gein. Saw an article about it on The Hollywood Reporter the other day :)
Yeah, Charlie Hunam playing him too, a great actor 🙌🏼
