My cat is very talkative too. That is why I picked him. He tells me to open the door or window so he can watch the birds. He tells me to play with him. He answers when I call
This clever Cowgirl works her brain and ass off....I would like to see this channel skyrocket to millions of views so she can get some help and property of her dreams!
And this is why she’s the “Clever” Cowgirl” 😁 Puts together a two person, one hour (we all know that means at least 2-3 hours) project in 35 minutes.🙌👏
We have a large run in shed secured with mobile home anchors. They have resisted some nasty winds here in eastern OR. We have one at each corner. Very simple to install and attach to the shed with cable wire. Hope your Nigel shed holds up to your Montana winter!
Tiny trotting in front… are you coming?, are you coming? So adorable with her chatty ways and the orange patch on her nose. Thank you for being a serene place of refuge today. It has seemed a few years long.
I'm so impressed you put up that shed alone, and in half the time! Really enjoyed the horses antics today. Pete's "Oh, she's back with another halter. I'm just gonna mosey around the other way...". Stewie, of course, had the opposite reaction. "If Little Gus is going, then I'm coming, too". And Nigel just running in circles "I don't know what you're doing in my space, but I don't like it". I needed that smile today, CC. Thanks!
calico cats are known to be talkative. They may communicate their needs and presence through meows, hisses, or purrs. Cats are generally more vocal when they are happy, and the pitch of their meow can indicate their feelings.Calico cats are known for their unique personalities, which can include being affectionate, independent, and sassy. I know all this because I have a girl also. Which calico's are 99% female. My girl Gypsy acts exactly diva like miss Tiny! Thats why I adore Tiny! 😊
I just think that Tiny loves you, that's all. She's happy to see you and yes, probably wants all the attention you're willing to give her. As for Nigel's tiny house---it reminds me of Eeyore when Pooh and Piglet built him the little snow shelter on his gloomy patch. The House at Pooh Corner.
Oh we do what we can for our animals even when they don't seem to want it! I don't keep my house very warm so I have heating pads for my cat. She never used one of them but I knew she was cold in that room. I finally switched to a different heating pad and was so glad when she deigned to sleep on it. I expect Nigel will grudgingly enjoy his new run in too!
I live in Utah, keep an eye on that shed when it snows. Those aluminum pipe frames don’t hold a lot of weight. Also, make sure you anchor it down tight so that the wind doesn’t blow it away.
One thing I can definitely tell about Nigel in the short time I've been watching your videos, he is not a fan of change. That seems to be what you represent to him. He loves you in his own way but he really doesn't like new things. He just wants to cover himself in dirt, eat his mash, chill, and get in playful biting matches with his old buddy. I've loved learning the characters of all of your animals and watching it all come together. Nothing more wholesome than a farm. Thank you for sharing.
❤❤HOORAY...HOORAY...HOORAY!! NIGEL'S RUN-IN SHED IS FINALLY HERE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THIS EXCITES ME SO MUCH, EXCEPT NIGEL HATES BEING IN A STALL & THIS IS HIS PERFECT SOLUTION.......A ""DOLL HOUSE". FOR A LITTLE DOLL OF A HORSE (even though he's a stinker!)❤❤ Thank you CC and God bless.....😊❤😮❤😅❤😊
Thanks. I really needed a new Clever Cowgirl video today. It's great that Nigel has a magnificent new run-in shed. In addition to your "big, giant human brain" you have a big, giant human heart.
I still remember when you first got Ziggy. I hadn't realised at the time how 'depressed' he was until I saw him today. He's a really content boy and I really 🤞🤞🤞hope you keep him. (Please keep him 🥰)
Our cat is also extremely talkative. In the morning, after spending the night hunting, it feels like he is telling me exactly what happened during the night when he was out. Cats are also social creatures and sometimes they just want attention.
Exactly. I always laugh when some expert says cats are solitary critters. They love company. On their own terms of course. Otherwise why would there be such large groupings of feral cats, if they were solitary by nature? Big cats, maybe. Not domestic kitties. Apparently, cats also learned to 'talk' with humans. In the wild, very feral cats are pretty silent, especially the females looking after kittens. All of my cats are rescues, two of them were 1. very feral and 2. sort of feral. Those girls hardly ever talk. Clawdia, the semi-feral, now quietly squeaks at me to indicate she wants something. The boys always chat. One of them tells me EVERYTHING that's been going on while I slept. Life is way more exciting around the house than I apparently think. Possums, blue tongue lizards, visiting cats...it's all go go go.
I couldn’t keep up with the video, chat and send a thank you during the premiere. Thank you so much for your channel and bringing me and everyone else along with you! Nigel is the bestest of the “turd” population.
My cat chats away all of the time, we have conversations for ages. It is only a problem if a cat isn't normally vocal and suddenly they start. Nigel's shed is starting to look like a nativity scene 😄❤
Hilarious that your horse decides to load himself. The days are shorter; I guess Winter is here. I remind myself that it's only a couple of months before the days get progressively longer again. Have a lovely weekend.
Yes to the strawbales around the back/sides of the shed. I fear for Nigel's safety with that shed in the pen when the wind picks it up and flings it across the pen again, eventhough it's stabilized a bit by the timber.
I am anxious to see if Nigel will go in there. Good idea of putting the straw bales around it just to plug those bottom areas. I suppose sandbags would also work for that.
That Tiny is a real character, isn't she? I never cared for cats much, but I could hang with her. And Nigel, I remember a goofy song around 1980, I think it was called "Making Plans for Nigel". I think of it every time I see him.
I think Tiny is just a talker. I l have one too. There's nothing wrong with her. Nigel's new little set up will be cozy once you get the strawbales up. He's a stinker so it'll probably take him a little while. Great job securing it. Great job on taking care of all of your fur babies! ❤❤❤
Talkative cats have learned talking is how to get the hooman's attention. She might want a sleepover in her hay pile. Cats will sit next to what they want. So if she's pestering you, she's hungry or she just wants to cuddle.
I absolutely LOVE how chatty Tiny is! I think she just wanted you to spend time with her on the shaky plate lol i love Stewie so much, he's such a social little man
Thank you for showing your work with Nigel's run-8n shed! You are a trooper making things work somehow, just trying different solutions! Can't believe tou took Whiplash, Pete and Ziggy to the vet as well. And Tiny talking was wonderful! Wish I could understand all she says - I love you, ❤️ give me scratches❤ shaky plate time?❤
Thanks for the video!! Quality content as always, this is the only channel that I watch "religiously" on youtube. It just consistently makes me happy ❤️✨️
I didn't understand when I first adopted a 15 yo can why she was talking so much. Now I realize she just talks. Her meows often don't sound sweet and friendly but that's just my interpretation. I like it when she asks for food or says hi when I join her on the couch.
It was so cute to see Gus decide it was time to get on the trailer! I understand your disappointment to see Nigel's little shed "deconstructed". This installation reminds me a lot of our winter protection for cars here in Quebec. We attach the entire construction to the ground with straps so that it will withstand winds and heavy snowfall, which might not be necessary in Montana.
I think they are like Alberta just across the line. The strong winds and Arctic outflow look like they are part and parcel where this is. Best to take precautions as you mention.
The perfect non medicinal supplement to my antidepressants ❤️ i love your uploads so much, CC Edit: i absolutely love talkative cats, Tiny has SO much to say and it's adorable
Tiny yells because she is a calico. If things are not exactly as they should be, you're going to hear about it. You are also going to hear about her day, the state of the mice, how warm the hay is, and if she needs more scratches. Source: my tiny tortie.
Like the idea of square bales around the outside for insulation and stability, CC. I suppose the snow will eventually help hold it in place, too. We don't have snow, but do have very strong winds. A small hothouse similar to Nigel's shed jumped the fence into the neighbour's place despite being put in a sheltered (by our standards) part of the garden. After it was retrieved it was bolted to the wooden fence. The frame then stayed in place, but the cover needed to be zipped, or the wind wanted to tear it apart. The bales should help with that, and the wooden base is a great idea. Will keep my fingers crossed for you...and contrary old Nigel.
I built a greenhouse, about 7x20, 2x4 wood frame with a small window & door, all wrapped with special greenhouse film/plastic. First big Colorado wind picked it up and tossed it across the yard! What a mess...
She has all that jazzy snazzy calico in her - - the patched cats are very full of PERSONALITY. I love your relationship with her - - I am a cat person and your attention to her while engaging all the biggers with the demands on your labor and training attention is impressive. She just wants to MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD RESPOND WHEN SHE WANTS YOU - That's What I Know About Cats. Best Regards.

I think a couple of sand bags on each corner of Nigel’s shed will do wonders for the stability
I love the way Nigel watches you very suspiciously. He’s never quite sure what you’re up to and doesn’t want anything to do with it.
Once again you’ve proved you are THE CLEVER COWGIRL ❤️

I love all your animals' personalities, but Tiny and Nigel together are so endearing! That cat LOVES that pony!
Good idea about the hay bails around Nigel shed😉👍😎
Yayyy CC! Nigel hit the lottery with you.🤍
Great update! And yes you do have a big brain and lots of common sense. You have to when you are managing your world on your own. You go girl!!
Ziggie's neck looks so much better to me
You are a resourceful and clever Cowgirl. I hope Nigel tests out his shelter soon. I love how you don't let anything stop you, CC. ♥
I am in awe of this woman .. she gets things done!!!!! 👏👏✌️🐴❤️
Straw bales around the outside is a perfect idea. They are highly insulative.
That Tiny is a real character, isn't she? I never cared for cats much, but I could hang with her. And Nigel, I remember a goofy song around 1980, I think it was called "Making Plans for Nigel". I think of it every time I see him.
Hahaha! CC put that song in one of her Nigel shorts a few months ago.
Girl! I am impressed - those stall mats are HEAVY! You are very resourceful!
Straw bales around the run-in would keep it more secure, snug, and even a bit of wind break. May prove to be a good idea. Anything for Nigel!
I love how you say Nigel.

You take such good care of all your animals.
For the future on a fast Nigel shelter , a wire hog panel with tarp cover put inside your wood frame.

Thanx for taking us along 👍
I love that name "Shed in a Box"
I loved my miniature horses I miss them
Tiny looks like she's waiting for you to unload the hay so she can take charge of it.❤❤
I appreciate that you take the time to explain why you do things the way you do.
Nigel's "shed" looks like a great idea, especially with the heavy-ish timber you added. But if stormy weather is more common in winter, I would honestly think about staking it to the ground somehow. Maybe add a "wood screw" eye bolt to each corner and hammer a heavy duty ground stake in each one. Or even move it to a corner and attach it to the fence somehow as well. Up to you of course.
I second all this about the Nigel Shelter.
I could have sworn I heard Tiny say " Its Shaky plate Time" ❤
Driving stakes into the ground and attaching them to the wooden substructure will help keep the structure from blowing away in the wind.
Also, putting straw bales around the outside of the structure a couple feet high, crisscrossing them with wire and attaching them to the wooden substructure will increase stability of the structure and add insulation. You may also want to cover the straw bales with plastic.
Hi clever.
When TINY wants something.. better stop and cater to her😂
Get a Rubbermaid shed. They come in various sizes. Very sturdy, and waterproof.
Add som galvanized self taping screws to each joint it will make more stable. Also add tent nails to each leg. The wind will put it into the next county
Cover joints and screw wrapped with plenty of electrical tape home depotall for a few bucks . Definitely anchor to ground or stable fence good luck
Have used many of those type of units good luck 😊
