Reminds me of a similar situation that happened here in my country.. An elderly couple were living alone by themselves and the man was already suffering from some form of memory problem.. He would sometimes leave the house to the disapproval of his wife in fear of him getting lost.. And one day he did, his wife informed the authorities and she would go out wandering the city on a daily basis while wearing a front and back sign of her lost husband.. Her efforts were eventually televised and her husband was found because of it, he wasn't looking so well though when they found him bit he at least finally got home safe..
