The Cuban-American community is so proud of Secretary of State Rubio. The likes of Alejandro Mayorkas, Sen. Bob Menendez and the disgraced and now unemployed Jim Acosta are hated and reviled within our community. But , Marco represents our conservative values and exemplifies our love of the USA.

If the status quo is resumed and the Hamas-led Palestinians move back to Gaza, they will be living like a pack of rats; Gaza is destroyed. Since many of the sources that funded the Palestinians during their first go around in Gaza are likely to say no thank you to new funding requests, and since most Muslim countries don't want the Palestinians in their country, what to do and where to put them is a real problem. Brings one to the question, what were they thinking when they carried out the horrible massacre on October 6. Frankly, no one should be sympathetic to their plight.

“Things will get better”. One of the national traits that differentiate Americans from many others is a strong optimism, born of the reality that we’ve gone through our own national challenges and come out ok, maybe even better than before. One of the reasons that sense of optimism isn’t reflected in others is because, when bad things happen, they just keep happening. This is the case in the Middle East. These people are shaped by endless adversity and struggle. My guess is that they don’t share this optimism that Secretary Rubio is expressing.
