For the role of Captain Shang I agree but for Mulan, I don't think Dilraba will fit the role. Crystal Liu who was casted as Mulan was the perfect choice for me.
This was the first Chinese historical dram I watched from start to finish. She gave him everything and he killed her. He was terrified by the deep feelings he had for her and had to live with the fact he killed her. The script writers did a great job
I have meet someone like him in real life. Those people very hard to love anyone because they always guarded due to their trust issue and play mind games. Those relationships never end well so it make sense it is a bad ending. I want good ending cdrama but this is the right ending for this relationship.

VZBB has a quiet charm, he needs a good stylist to present him at his best...no crew cuts..eeuww!!!! In some scenes they were kind enough not to do such injustice..some places it's so shoddy.. Even for DD...her eyebrows r out of alignment..she's like this delicate flower otherwise...
