- An astonishing performance by Rossano, piano; Scott and Harry, tenor; Frank, string bass; Pete, drums, from the 2016 Cleveland Classic Jazz Party. Recorded on September 15, 2016, by Michael Steinman for JAZZ LIVES (www.jazzlives.w...)
Awesome playing ! allways love to see Rossano get that smile on his face when they saxes are playing really deep and swing
Rossano, smile on his face. Wonderful.
Man, that is such good stuff...and Rossano is such a great musician but he also appreciates the talents of the other cats as well! I loved his reactions when he played with Liam Byrne.
Rossano's background/backup piano is outstanding when he stops playing the solos tend to drag. His touch is masterfull and never overplays the soloist
Two of my favorite tenor players. Wonderful organic performance. Scotts command of the altissimo is amazing
Scott Robinson ♥

Gotta love that wonderful sweet and rich heavenly sound of Mr. Robinson's old Conn . It's probably a Chu. Nice diversion and he knows how to work it. Great to hear these two giant tenors together. Thanks Swingyoucats!
It's an early nw1 in the low 100k' s if i recall, Amazing tone.
Wonderful performance all round!
Gorgeous.
Prez wow !
"Let's play the blues" says Charlie Christian, adding "in b" on that famous Benny Goodman Sextet recording from way back when ! Rossano and these cats do a great job here - first rate musicians all, but Frank Tate's bass is almost inaudible most of the time. Pity.
The drummer aint John Bonham, butWOW!, what an ensemble. Sweet..
and thank god he aint
