Thankx this helped me for elden ring, I messed up a rune farm, l downloaded the synced data that was saved previously before I messed up the farm and I re opened the game and the downloaded saved was used. But I went back to see the sync status and it said "auto-sync disabled".. Following your steps fixed it for me. And I learned that if you messed up something you can load ur cloud sync, I think it only syncs when u turn off ps5 or put it on rest so that save should be fine, also manually sync if you know your about to do something in game you might fk up or if for whatever reason you want to go back to it.

But when I install the game on disk, then I get the game synced🙃 But that is almost 200 gb data, and I won't take too much space for one game. This is just odd. Have been like this for months now. You can only autosync so many games at once for example if I have let's say 50 games installed on ps5 ssd(unlikely) onlybi think 10 can be set to autosync at once
